I personally think it is better then FFVII in many parts, it was so much fun for me, playing such an early title. I have not yet completed it, but, I amjust in WoR, collecting everbody else, before finding secret bits, defeating the dragons, and going to face Kefka.

FFVI is the only FF game i havn't played, can't get a hold of it. I have heard alot about it, many people consider it to be better than FFVII.

I'm sorry, but if you haven't got anything to say about FFVI, try not to comment, as I do find it slightly annoying.

Eh, Vayne, I think you meant Kefka.

I loved FFVI. The cast of characters were adorable and fun, the villian was wacky, the graphics were good for their time and the Esper system was enjoyable and easy to learn. The plotline was interesting and the music was great. Another game I played half a dozen times and I would play them another dozen!

FFVI was fun. I liked it very much too. Of all the Final Fantasies, I think FFVI was the most quotable. It did have the best quotes. Of all. It had some funny ones, and some other ones that were just good. If this was Square's attempt at themes on life, I'd say this one succeeded better than FFVII in terms of initial intent. I did like the story in FFVII, but it was so ambiguous that its focus wasn't as great as FFVI. Pity it's not getting the attention it deserves. I'm really stuck between FFVI and FFVII because they're both really good, but I'd say it had the best story of all the Final Fantasies.

Bleedin eck, thanks for pointing that out

I really didn't like using the summons, they were too weak if you ask me, but they were awfully useful for spells - nearly all the characters I use in battle have over 400MP, and learn the Cure magic! Just need to get that summon which makes a character learn Curaga :)

Im actually at the same part as you VS, though I may restart to refresh on earlier events which I've probably forgotten seing as I've left the game for some time. At least this time I can pay more attention and get more extras done which would let me have a greater apperciation for the game.

I quite like the beginning anyways, riding around on the magi-teck armour, so easy.

The characters and story in FFVI were amazing. I became attached to, pretty much everyone, but particularly to Terra. I can see a lot of elements of FFVI that influenced FFVII.

Gameplay was top notch. Lots of customization and possibilities for different results. The music was cool as well.

Hard to choose between FFVII and FFVI as my favorite FFs, but FFVI is my 2nd favorite.

I did not find it quite as enthralling as VII but I originally played VI far into my gaming career and such things do not instantly grab my attention anymore so only the contiuing high quality of the story made me keep playing it.

A very good game definatly better then any FF before it and most after it. Though I preferd both VII and VIII it is my third fav FF game.

The FFVI characters were much more desirable then FFVIII's by a long shot. At least the characters from FFVI didn't come from an orphanage (well most of the main cast did from VIII). However, some of the secret questions, you didn't really need.

Do you have any particular favourites? Oh, does anyone have any theories on what Gogo may be?

This is for FFVI based comments really, have you played FFVI at all?

Gogo is a mime. But my favorite character is either Shadow because ninja's own and then Edgar because he was really funny and locke because he is just so cool.

I played this game a little but it eventualy broke somehow. But It wasn't as good as FFVII still. That game will always be the best for me.

My ps1 version of this broke in hal because of my dog and i got really mad but i have a snes version so iam happy.
