Alright, got the idea for this when Mitsuki mentioned Survivor in another thread. Who here listens to any 80's music, or earlier?

Oldies I listen to are:
Survivor
Dead or Alive
James Brown
Queen
Guns N Roses
The Village People
The BeeGees
Michael Jackson

And then I have a few various songs by people, like War by Edwin Starr, Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, and The Safety Dance by Men Without Hats.

a lot of the music i listen to is 80s and pre 80s, too much of it to list actually.
i'll list a few though

Led Zep
GNR
Pink Floyd
Rolling Stones
The Doors
Thin Lizzy
Style Council

i could go on for a long time

Led Zeppelin...
one of the best bands of all time!
Others I listen to include;

Pink Floyd
ACDC
Queen
Guns 'N Roses
The Beatles
Duran Duran

Those are the ones I listen to most...

I love 80's music, especially those love songs. =) Anyway, I've got too many to list.

Survivor
- probably my most 80's favorite.

Chicago -
their songs kinda remind me of Survivor and Air Supply.

The Eagles
- I believe they are most popular due to Hotel California.

Air Supply
- awesome, awesome songs from them.

Rod Stewart - I like several songs from him.

Foreigner - "I want to know what love is!"

Billy Joel
- I only really listen to a few songs from him, most especially "We Didn't Start the Fire".

Bon Jovi - heck yeah!

Meatloaf
- I don't know much about Meatloaf, but I love a few songs.

Pat Benatar
- got some pretty cool songs.

Cyndi Lauper -
Oh yeah, girls just wanna have fun!

Eurythmics
- who hasn't heard of 'em?

Bonni Tyler
- Total Eclipse of the Heart...yes, definitely Old School.

REO Speedwagon
- " Can't Fight This Feeling" anymoooooore.

Cranberries
- anyone remember them? Zombie is my favorite!

Madonna - hey, her songs are pretty damn good.

James Ingram - very talented man.

Diana Ross - simply love her!

All-4-One - "I Swear" is a favorite song of mine.

Stevie B. - I believe he's more of a 90's guy, especially with the song "Dream About You", but he has some 80's too.

Anyway, there's so much more, but I'll stop for now.

I dunno what it is about them, but they have some sort of epic quality to their sound. All their songs could fit into Rocky movies :neomon:
Meatloaf - I don't know much about Meatloaf, but I love a few songs.

My dad has alot of their stuff, nothing of it has particularly stood out to me except Bat Out of Hell.

Glad to see me and Mitsuki aren't the only ones who listen to the older stuff. Alot of it is just so much better than the crap out today, and some is just corny and fun as hell :wacky: And I totally forgot to list Boston.

I listen to music by Queen often enough. And odd tracks from other bands... I'm Walking On Sunshine, If I Had A Million Dollars, 9 to 5, Eye of the Tiger, Black and White... I also have a couple of U2 songs. :) There are others, but I can't think of them at this moment in time. :P

i would like to say you have great taste
except for U2, Duran Duran dire straits and REM :neomon:

you are the only person ive met yet who knows who the stranglers are.

but i think 80s music is quite bad, with the exception of a few bands.
i HATE glam rock, bastards argh:wacky:
so really i prefer 70s and 60s

and i forgot the beetles and TRB
