haha hm. i can't even imagine what the story would be like. i'd guess that rinoa selphie and quistis would be sphere hunters and squall, irvine, and zell would start a band.

*sigh of relief* Thx for saying it's just fan art, I nearly thought it would be a sequal myself. FFVIII is my fav and I think could/might be able to have a sequal, but seeing Rinoa like that was like a no. Plus I think they would run VIII right into the ground as they did with X cause of it's sequal.

BTW if a band would get started it would be Selphie, Irvine, Quitis, and Zell. Remember that band scene at F.H.?
 
Actually I'd probably be excited if they where going to make a game like that. I know it's sad that I'd probably buy this game the minute it hit the shelf, but I liked FFVIII, and even though this game could totally blow if they would have made it, I'd probably still like it (I did actually like X-2)

I didn't like everything about FFVIII, but I like the PS1 gen games enough that I would buy any sequels. XD

I think of Quistis as the goth one. ^.^
 
I'd actually want this game to be made. I love FFVIII and wouldn't mind seeing a sequel. The way Rinoa looks doesn't bother me too much although I'd prefer to see her in her old self. But it's confirmed it's just fan art now so oh well...

Yeah, that scan is about four years old now. It was on some RPG website that's now dead. I can't remember the url now, but that girl was on the main page.
And for the record; FFVIII-2 should never come into more existence than that image.
 
Lolz, I was getting pretty excited myself. FFVIII has always been my fav. :)

But, it's just fanart, so as Maechen says "And that, as they say, is that."
 
Wow. first thing that popped into Lekis mind was that it was going to be another FFX-2. Leki does like FFX-2, but..... Yuna changed so much. leki thought Rinoa was gonna go all.....mm, different. And even thought I've never liked Rinoa in the first place, I don't want her to turn out like that.

That reminds me.... Leki has GOT to get her butt in gear and finish playing FFVIII...
