This is good but it kind of lacks emotion. I think you need to make a little more use with the brush on this piece.SOTW Entry:
I like the text and the placement of it though.
I assumed this piece was meant as a joke. It just looks like you took a rather finished picture and smudged out the woman's mouth. If you were going for another look, well it might need a touch of work.Current sig:

It's an interesting piece though, and there are some interesting things going on. I'm not a huge fan of the white blur on her back but I do like the pattern on the arm.

However, for me it's not really about winning. I have nothing to prove, since I don't believe I'm a better artist to begin with.
As for the dodgy critique, I apologize if my critique wasn't proper. Argar is obviously a mile or two ahead of me on skill, from the looks of it.

Nice piece here. I love the blurring in the background, and the clip masks were a nice touch, but for it being a sotw entry - last weeks in particular, I don't see the message of the song in it. All aside, it's sweet.

I totally love how you manipulated her face and cut her nose and mouth off like that!
It's so creative and out there.
I love the crisp edges of the effects and the vibrant reds. I love how it sort of has a rusty look and looks like a painting.
Fantastic lighting and I love how gentle it looks. It's hard to explain, but it looks like it's in the eye of the storm and the pieces falling off around her have paused for a minute and create this gentle peaceful look before it all disappears.

I really like the effects you've used at the bottom. I'm assuming it's C4D's/Clipping masks, whatever it is though, looks stunning. Even though her face looks a little sharp, I love the glows going over the dark of her shirt, text looks very pretty too.I think you added Topaz?

Only piece of advice if so, would be do the text after. Even though it gives a nice... "blurr". I think, if I see correctly though 
the outerglow looks pretty.
