So, this is just something that I started writing and couldn't stop. xD I'm a little shy about posting stories and that, since I'm often worried that they'll turn out crap. Thanks to Amanda and Vikki for proof-reading and encouraging me, with extra-special thanks to Vikki for helping me with some of the names!

So, anyway, here's the prologue and chapter 1 >_>

Prologue
Everywhere they looked, people are dying. The world is in ruins, ruled by a corrupt government with an uncaring, inhumane dictator at its helm. Twelve years ago, a powerful weapons research centre, known only as “The Company” had declared war, and by using advanced technology far beyond anything anyone had seen before, the company exerted its dominion over the world, as country after country was forced into surrender without terms. By setting up a series of puppet governments, The Company was able to swiftly and decisively impose its will onto the people of Earth. Within two years, the world had been transformed, into a barren and desolate planet, with its inhabitants being slaves to an all-powerful and evil technological empire. Major cities and those who lived there were quickly destroyed both as a sign of The Companies technological supremacy and as a means of forcing the rest of the people to live in small villages. This was to create a system that would be easy for the government to control, and so any possible rebellion could be crushed before it gathered enough support to be a threat.

However, pockets of resistance remained, this is the story of the White Lions, a group dedicated to restoring peace and democracy to a desperate world.

Chapter One. Amanda.

The official policy of The Company was that people like Amanda didn’t exist, and if they DID exist; the company had ways to make sure that they wouldn’t exist for long. These people were seen as a “genetic mistake” with The Company denouncing them as “defects running amok” in their “perfect society” in reality, The Company saw them as threats, as beacons of hope that would brighten up the spirits of the very people they wanted to remain oppressed. If anyone was suspected of being a genetic mistake, the Police had the power to arrest the person immediately and have them taken to a laboratory to be tested. Most of those who went to such a place never came out. Those that did were warned to never speak about their experience, under threats of torture and death. The Company even established a special contingent of their armed forces; one dedicated to the eradication of these defects, known as the “Gene-Purifiers.” Their methods were brutal and clumsy, often not caring who they killed; they quickly became the most feared group in the army, nicknamed The Deathbringers by the people. Every week they would scour a random village, hoping to find genetic mistakes, and to inspire fear into the hearts and minds of all, as no one knew when they would arrive, or who they would take away. On one particularly cold November evening, they raided the village of Canone, and this is where they found Amanda.

Amanda and her parents were sitting around the fire, trying to gather as much warmth as they could on this cold dark night. They were all clothed in tattered green rags, which provided little warmth or comfort. Amanda sat quietly in front of the fire, lost in thought, absentmindedly fiddling with her long brown hair that was cascading down her back, barely noticing her parents who were sitting quietly in the background, enjoying the warmth of the fire. The silence was broken, when loud, persistent thumping noises came from the door.

“Open up! Or we’ll break the door down!” a rough authoritative voice barked loudly.
Amanda’s parents quickly sprang from their seats, with her father tentatively walking towards the simple wooden door, and opening it slowly;

“Yes? What do yo-“
Before he could finish his sentence, a large burly man in a sophisticated uniform pushed him out of the way and marched into the house, followed by about ten foot soldiers
“Out of the way, you old fool, we’ve come for the girl!” he declared pointing at Amanda.
Amanda’s mother instantly stood in front of Amanda, acting like a human shield, and bravely spat at the man

“You can’t take her. Leave! Now!”
The man merely smirked and signalled towards a soldier behind him, who nodded and raised his gun towards Amanda’s mother. Ignoring the now quivering woman, the man, who was clearly in charge, turned his head to face the distressed girl sitting on the floor

“Amanda Grace, I am Colonel William Hunter, and you are a Genetic Mistake, you have been found guilty and have been sentenced to death. You are to be taken from this place, and shot to death. If you attempt to resist us, we will eliminate your parents” he then stared her straight in the eyes “Do I make myself clear?”

Amanda stared at the man, her eyes welling up with tears, but, just as she was about to open her mouth to submit to Williams will, her father suddenly roared and tackled him to the floor, punching him in the face and reaching for his gun. William was momentarily overpowered,

“Shoot him! Shoot him now!” he barked at his men
Amanda felt as though time had slowed down, as she saw all the soldiers point their guns at her father, feeling desperate and angry, a sudden rush of power swept through Amanda

“NO!” she screamed, pushing her arms out towards the soldiers. The soldiers’ guns began to warp, bending into impossible shapes, and as Amanda began to sob uncontrollably everything metal in the house began to fly at the men who had attacked their home, knocking them unconscious. Amanda stopped crying almost immediately, gazing at the scene in shock;

“Did I…did I do THIS?” she cried, looking at the unconscious bodies and too her parents in despair.
Sirens were sounding in the distance, causing Amanda to snap out of her shock

“Mother…. Father…what do I do?” she pleaded, her eyes welling up with tears once more. Her mother took one last, silent look at her daughter and then whispered

“Run, Amanda, run.”
Amanda looked at her father for verification, and he merely lowered his head

“They’ll be looking for you here Amanda, it’s not safe anymore…you have to leave”
Amanda nodded slowly, her whole world spinning around. She took one last look at her mother and father, and ran out of the house, and into the snowy night, not knowing when, or if, she would ever return.

That was a really good and interesting read Mark!

It was very descriptive and the first chapter wasn't too long or too short, yet very informative.

You ended it well, as it will draw people in who want to know what is to happen next in the next chapter.

The only real thing I can suggest is to space out your paragraphs, and also when people are speaking.

e.g:

It just makes it an easier read in my opinion. =)

Keep up the awesome work Mark!

I told you it'd be fine, Markie dear. =3

I like it, as I told you before. You've got a great creative mind and you put it to pen/word really well.

You write in a way that is really easy to picture. And that makes it easier to imagine in the readers' minds, what is happening. <3

great first chapter. =3 I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to Amanda! :3 :mark:

I like it, it has a feeling of a V for Vendetta/Terminator Salvation hybrid. These sort of post-apocalyptic worlds are always intriguing for me. You tend not to leave things uncovered and the back-story is clearly well thought out.

“Do I make myself clear? Either way, you will die. But if you resist us, your parents die too”
I think that line could be dropped completely. I'm assuming it's supposed to make the character of Colonel Hunter more intimidating and someone to be feared, but for me it did the opposite. It was overkill you could say. For that sort of character, you want to keep their dialogue short, minimal and to the point. It gives them a much more dangerous feel.

her father suddenly roared and tackled him to the floor, punching him in the face and reaching for his gun. William was momentarily overpowered,

While this is good, it could be made better by being made less literal. Try to describe more with metaphors and similes what is happening, and the emotions that the character(s) is/are going through. It will add another dimension to the story writing like that because it allows the reader to visualise things more.

Thank you for the comments, guys. I've implemented some of your changes ^^ I sincerely appreciate the feedback and suggestions :yay: Once again, thank you Vikki for proof-reading this chapter! I tried to write it so it kept skipping from Vikki's perspective and back to Amanda's, until the two of them meet up.

Chapter Two. Detection.

Vik hated wearing her earpiece, not only did it itch and look awful, every time it was used, it brought bad news. This time was no exception.

“Base to Vik, do you hear me?”

“I hear you” she mumbled back in reply, crouching behind a building

“We’ve found another one, but this time, he got there first”

“Where?” she snapped, not caring for an elaboration

“The town of Canone, it’s not too far from you. However, Vik, there’s been a complication”

Vik sighed, “isn’t there always?”

“It seems that the girl can’t control her powers, she’s knocked out a whole squadron and fled the scene. The target appears distressed and confused, this a rescue mission only, you are to recover the girl as quickly as quietly as possible, and you must not to engage the enemy in combat unless absolutely necessary, understood?”

“I gotcha, get the girl, calm her down, avoid bad guys, return to base. This just keeps getting better” her voice dripping with sarcasm

“Good luck, and stay safe. Kai out”

The line went dead before Vik could say anything in response,

“So much for saying goodbye” she thought grinning, it wasn’t going to be easy, but she always appreciated a challenge. Turning her attention to the task ahead she made her way towards the target, snow covering her tracks within seconds, it was like she’d never been there at all.

*

Amanda kept running, faster and faster, not caring where her legs took her, as long as it got her away from those men. Every breath she took began to sound laboured, as the adrenaline from her dramatic escape began to wear off as she reached the woods. However, Amanda was determined to keep going, she had no other choice but to keep moving, sirens were destroying the silence, dogs were barking in the distance, and there was still that inescapable sense of fear in the air. Amanda knew she wasn’t safe yet, so she took one last deep breath to compose herself, and continued her flight into the unknown.

*

Vik’s earpiece came to life with no warning, the heated command nearly deafening her

“She’s moved faster than we thought, she’s already in the woods. Move!”

Vik knew of the woods near Canone, she also knew of a military base that was located in there

“Idiot! She’s running right into a trap!” she hissed, hoping she wasn’t too late

“Vik, we’re picking up a lot of heat signals around that area, the girl’s still running, but if you don’t get there quickly, she’s gonna be surrounded. Then that’s it, game over”

Vik could hear the desperation in Kai’s voice, and broke out into a super-human sprint, the snow around her feet spraying like waves as she rushed towards the target

“I’ll be there as soon as I can, keep me updated!” she cried, but the line was already dead.

*

The noises were getting closer now, almost attacking the air, the dogs were what scared Amanda the most. She’d seen them before, they tore flesh as easily as she tore paper. Terror crept into Amanda like never before, she was too young for this. She was too young to die.

*

Vik could hear them now, she was so close! For a moment she was relieved, the chase was still on. The girl was still alive, and Vik could still save her. Removing her gun from its holster, Vik leapt into the forest, darting through the thick foliage, her locator beeping with a furious speed.

“I’m gonna make it! I’m gonna make it!” She thought triumphantly.

Speeding towards Amanda, Vik began to transform.

*

Amanda began picking herself up off the floor, after falling over a renegade branch, as she turned around, the first thing she saw was the cold, snarling eyes of an army dog, and she knew she had seen the face of death. Frozen where she fell, and resigned to death, Amanda began to pray as the beast prepared to lunge at her. Closing her eyes, and expecting to feel the sharp sting of death, the trance was broken as a loud whistle broke through the air, and a young soldier appeared, commanding the creatures to retreat. As the dogs slowly backed away, confused, as they had never been disallowed a kill before, the young soldier began to walk towards Amanda, gun in hand.

“P-p-please sir, please don’t kill me” Amanda pleaded, her voice beginning to break

Expecting the worst, Amanda felt a ripple of shock when the soldier did the unexpected; he smiled and offered her his hand

“Don’t worry, you’re safe now”

As he helped Amanda up, the two of them didn’t realise that the soldiers had emerged from their hiding places, enthralled with this bizarre scene. Amanda’s saviour turned round to find about seven guns pointing at them, with the man in charge walking towards them, clapping slowly

“Major Smith” the soldier hissed, placing himself in front of Amanda

“Mistake 24601. You’re alive” he smirked

“I prefer the name Vik, but that’s Victoria to you, thank you” the soldier spat back

“Victoria?” Amanda thought, puzzled, as confusion outweighed her terror momentarily

“Whatever. Although I find your theatrics rather… amusing. Neither of you will leave this forest alive.”

“That’s what you think” Vik giggled

Amanda could hardly conceal her amazement as the soldiers uniform warped into a sleek leather body suit, the bulky mans body began melding into a shapely feminine form and flowing red hair sprouted as if from nowhere from Vik’s head. Within seconds, the young soldier was no more, and in his place stood a beautiful, but powerful looking, woman.

“You think your morphing skills will save you here, witch?” The Major spat, his face torn between amusement and disgust.

“Oh, not at all” Vik replied, fluttering her eyelashes “I just wanted to leave you with a pretty picture before I vanish”

“Enough! Now!” the Major lifting his arm to signal to the soldiers around him

“Now Damon!” Vik commanded

Before the soldiers could unleash a barrage of bullets, a thick smoke cloud enshrouded Amanda and Vik, and they vanished, leaving nothing but confused and angry faces behind.

*

And, just since I got all inspired and couldn't stop writing, here's chapter three as well :yay: I hope you enjoy it!

Chapter Three. The Team.

Amanda opened her eyes cautiously, wondering if this was what death felt like. Opening her eyes, one at a time, Amanda was able to clarify that she wasn’t dead, but was instead in a completely alien place, she was in a large sparsely decorated round room, full of strange computers and huge monitors. Slightly confused, but satisfied that she wasn’t going to die, she dared to speak

“Where am I? What happened? Who are you people?”

It was only after seeing the slightly stunned faces of three onlookers did Amanda realise how loud and fast her questions had been. She saw Vik, the woman that had saved her life in the forest, embracing a taller, intelligent looking man with glasses. Over in the corner of the room, not facing Amanda, there was a woman wearing a nurse’s uniform talking to a man she assumed was the leader, and a younger, painfully skinny teenager sitting opposite her grinning.

“So, you’re awake! Rise and shine Sleeping Beauty”

Taking an instant dislike to the boy’s cheery disposition, Amanda scowled and scanned the room again

“Where am I?”

“You’re safe now” The woman with the nurse’s uniform walked over and beamed at her, in a calm, reassuring, voice

“What happened back there? What did I do?” Amanda asked, her voice suddenly fearful

“Your powers activated. You’re one of us” this simple explanation came from the one Amanda assumed was the leader

“One…of you?” she asked, her brow furrowing in confusion

“You are what The Company calls a Genetic Mistake, you have special powers that normal humans don’t possess” he explained, calmly and slowly

“I’m…a mistake?” Amanda asked, her voice breaking

“We prefer to be called The Chosen” Vik spoke up, in a comforting voice

“The Chosen?”

“Yes, we’ve been chosen to rid the world of The Company” Vik elaborated

“We all have special powers here, you are not alone. Although I know you must have many questions for us, and we’ll be very willing to answer, I’d like Lisa to escort you to the medical room, we need to make sure you didn’t break anything fleeing those soldiers” the leader interjected, signalling to the woman in the nurse’s uniform.

“Come along dearie” Lisa sang

As Amanda was a little shocked as a result of all this new and alien information, she merely nodded; Lisa put her hand on Amanda’s back, and directed her calmly, but firmly, towards the medical room

“We’ll have a briefing later to fill you in” she smiled, as they went through a door.

*

Vik turned to address their leader

“Kai, what are we going to do about her?”

“We’re going to keep her safe Vik, and take care of her. Perhaps even train her” Kai explained

The man who previously had his arm around Vik readjusted his glasses and frowned slightly at Kai

“But, we don’t even know what she can do! She knocked out an entire squadron of troops. Led by HIM!”

“Which is EXACTLY why we want her on OUR side!” Damon interjected “We don’t want another Rh-“

“We do not speak about him. Ever” Vik interrupted her voice cutting.
“Enough. We won’t let that happen again, last time we lost too many good people. We’ve learned our mistakes” Kai’s voice was bitter.

“Regardless, we have to keep her safe, she’s just a girl” Damon rationalised

“I suppose you’re right” Justin relented “I just hope she can learn to control her powers”

*

“Well, you appear to be just fine, a little shocked, but otherwise fine” Lisa explained smiling

“Thank you… I’m just… so afraid. I don’t know what I am anymore,” Amanda cried

“It’s okay pet, we were all afraid at one point. You just need to remember sweetie, you’re not the bad guy here” Lisa patted Amanda’s arm gently

Amanda chirped up a little bit, she bit her lip gently for a few seconds, daring to pluck up the courage to ask a question that was burning on her lips

“What…what can you do? Miss?”

Lisa chuckled “Miss? Please, just call me Lisa”

Amanda smiled, but carried on looking at Lisa expectantly

“Well…” Lisa began, lost in thought “I’m a healer, primarily. Which is why I’m the team doctor. Although, I also possess the powers of flight and super strength.”

“Really? Wow!” Amanda’s eyes were practically popping out of her head

“Well, it’s nothing much really” Lisa murmured, blushing “I don’t actually use those powers too much, as I’m needed to help the others here, much like Justin. The others are much more combat based than little old me”

Amanda’s curiosity was getting the better of her “So, what powers do the others have? Obviously, Vik, was it, she can transform, and that skinny guy can teleport… but what about the others?”

Lisa snorted “Skinny guy? You must mean Damon. Well…let me see. I’ll explain everything to you. I only ask that you don’t ask questions until I’m done, okay?”

Amanda nodded, her face full of excitement
“Well, there’s five of us in the group, and as you know, we call ourselves The Chosen. It’s a much more dignified name than what The Company labels us as, I’m sure you’d agree?”

Amanda nodded fervently, willing Lisa to carry on

“Well, Kai is our leader, but he mainly stays here, using his telepathy to find any more Chosens who activate their powers, so the others can get to them before the army do, it’s how we found you after all”

It all made sense to Amanda now, it’s how Vik was able to get to her as she did, Lisa paused, allowing Amanda to process this information, and continued when it looked like it was going in

“Although, don’t let that fool you. Kai’s also a powerful telekinetic, that allows him to move things with his mind”

“What kinds of things?” Amanda interrupted, her curiosity piqued

“All kinds of things” Lisa waved her hand “Vik is the second in command. She leads most of our field missions while Kai provides support. Vik’s a metamorph and can transform into anyone, or anything. She’s risked her life many times to steal valuable equipment from The Company. Vik’s also got powerful elemental powers. She can create snow, winds, lightning, and even use them to fly. She’s an incredible lady.”

Amanda was awe-struck; amazed that someone had this sort of power

“Justin can turn his hands into tools and create anything he can think of. He’s the one responsible in destroying all the tracking chips in the stolen equipment as well as modifying them for our own use. He also has manipulation over the earth…however, he can’t fully control that power yet, so he prefers to remain on base, so as not to become a liability”

“And the other guy? That…Damon”

“Damon’s a teleporter. Normally Vik finds the Chosen and Damon teleports them back here. Damon’s also a fire manipulator though. He can’t create the fire yet, and I’ve had more than enough singed eyebrows to testify to that, but he can control it. He’s a bit too young though, and Kai prefers to keep him on base, as we reckon he could be a liability to Vik”

Amanda snorted, she could appreciate that, and Damon seemed like a real joker to her not one to take things seriously.

Lisa carried on talking, “And then there was Rh-“ her voice broke off suddenly

“Who?” Amanda teased
“I’m sorry, we don’t talk about him.” Lisa said, with such finality that Amanda dared not question her.

There was a large robotic beep to signal the intercom, with Kai’s voice clearly ringing through the medical room

“Lisa, please come to the meeting room, and bring the girl”

“Come along dearie, the others will explain everything to you” Lisa, already by the door, called over to Amanda.

Amanda smiled weakly and slumped off her bed, following Lisa. It was time for answers. But did she want to hear them?

This was another good read from you Mark!

I enjoyed both chapters and it was much easier on the eyes to read once you paragraphed out the chapter more. =)

You've done a great job at keeping the audience interested, always ending the final chapter with something that the audience really can't wait to read.

Great work! Can't wait to read the next chapter!

*twitch* More? *twitch*

Your writing style is epic, Mark, I think I ignored my dad while I was reading XD He was talking to me and I just didn't pay him any attention, I was too busy reading. <3

I'll bug you for more all the time now :wacky:

Sorry for the long delay. I've been having a LOT of problems with Chapter 4, I've kept re-writing it. Initially it was meant to be very dialogue-heavy, but that frustrated me, so I came up with this. I think it shapes the future of the storyline well and explains things ^^ Extra thanks to Jess for being my proof-reader :yay:

Chapter Four. Attack.

The President was not amused; they had finally discovered someone who possessed the powers his company needed, and she had eluded them. Worse still, she was with them. He pushed a red button on the edge of his desk, which activated his intercom;

“Miss Johnson, send in Team Alpha. That is all.”

A few moments later, the thick oak door to the President’s office flew upon, and in walked two women and, walking ahead of them, a man with shocking blue hair, but eerily red eyes. The two women had long jet-black hair, and expressionless faces, with dead haunting pale lilac eyes, and dark red lips. They were identical in every way, although one wore bright yellow clothing and the other wore deep blue clothing. The man with the blue hair wore simple black clothes, with a dark red cape and exuded power and confidence; he was the clear leader of the trio. The three of them bowed when they reached the President’s desk, and remained silent, awaiting further orders. The President smirked, and threw a map at them, which was deftly caught by the man in the middle;

“We’ve found them at last. Bring the girl to me. Kill the others. You know what to do, go.”

Without waiting for any elaboration or instructions, the three of them nodded and left the office.

“Now I’ve got you.” The President smirked, helping himself to a large glass of brandy.

*

“So, what is it you people do?” Amanda couldn’t contain herself any longer

The rest of the group glanced around, waiting to see who would be the one to answer Amanda’s question, Kai eventually spoke up

“We rescue people…people like us. We train them, and together, we fight the Company!”

“You fight them?” Amanda was incredulous “Why? You can’t possibly win!”

“Don’t say that!” Lisa interjected angrily “We HAVE to fight. We have to believe we can win!”

“Lisa’s right,” Vikki began, sadness in here eyes “If we don’t fight…then we just run. Run forever. Fighting keeps our hope alive.”

“It’s simple History. Empires cannot be sustained forever. The earth wasn’t designed to be ruled by a single government,” Kai added. “We believe, one day, we’ll become powerful enough, or have the number, to destroy the Company. Amanda, we’re asking you, join us! Fight with us!”

Amanda sat there in silence. She admired their resolve and their attitude, but she was uncertain, could she really go to war with something that controlled the planet? Just as she was about to say something, a noise that sounded like a giant crash of thunder came from the other side of their headquarters.

“What the hell was that?” Vikki cried, standing to attention along with the others.

“I don’t like the sound of this…” Damon muttered.

They stood there, frozen, unable to move, until suddenly a heinous cackle filled the room and another thunder crack sounded.

“Damn.” Kai cursed, before issuing his order “Lisa, Justin! You two take Amanda somewhere safe.”

“Where?” Lisa cried.

“Anywhere but here!” Vikki shrieked.

“Damon, Vikki, follow me and prepare for combat!” Kai yelled.

Vikki, Kai and Damon began moving swiftly out of the room, leaving Amanda with Lisa and Justin.

“What’s going on?” Amanda was panicking.

“Follow us. Don’t ask questions” Justin barked.

Lisa ran over to a computer console and entered a string of commands. Amanda could here something moving, and she noticed the floor opening up, with an elevator shaft coming up out of the ground.
“Get on,” Lisa pointed to the elevator. “It’ll take us to the underground tunnels, and we can get to safety from there.”

Amanda nodded, and the three of them boarded the elevator, as it descended down into the cold and dark ground, Justin used his earth powers to close the floor so they couldn’t be followed. As they descended, Amanda wondered what was happening, and if they’d ever see the other three again.

*

Kai, Vikki and Damon searched their whole base and found nothing.

“They must have went into the tunnels,” Damon moaned, “they could be anywhere”

Their base had three levels. The first level was on the surface, and served as their main base. The second level was a series of tunnels, they weren’t very deep, but they stretched on for miles, like a maze, designed to make their base impregnable from underground. The third level had their escape route, it was a tunnel that went extremely deep under the earth and connected this base to their backup base. The third level couldn’t be accessed by anyone outside the team.

There was a gaping hole in the floor, leading down to the tunnels below.

“Let’s go!” Vikki cried, jumping in. The boys followed her.

“There’s definitely two of them…” Kai whispered “But I can’t pinpoint them. Somehow they’re blocking my telepathy.”

“Should we split up?” Vikki asked, when they approached two smaller tunnels.

“You take that path, Vik, and Damon and I will go straight ahead.” Kai decided “Get out of there immediately if you’re outmatched. No one’s dying today.”

Vikki nodded and sped down the other path, while Kai and Damon crept along in the same direction.

After walking for what felt like hours, Damon stopped suddenly.

“I have a bad feeling about this all of a sudden…” Damon muttered. “I can’t move”

Kai spun round “What?”

Just then Kai barely stopped something with his telekinesis before it hit Damon in the face. It was a giant iced spike.

“They’re here!” Kai cried, throwing the ice to the ground.

*

“Show yourself, you bastard. I know you’re out there.” Vikki mumbled irritably.

“Oh, but I’m right behind you.” A voice snarled menacingly, before a fist went into Vikki’s back, flooring her.

“Why, you little bitch!” Vikki spat, standing up. She stared into the face of her attacker, seeing a girl wearing bright yellow clothes snarling at her with murder in her eyes.

“Too slow.” The girl spoke slowly, as if in a trance, before fleeing down the tunnel, creating thunder crashes as she ran, making rocks fall everywhere.

“Oh no you don’t.” Vikki declared “You caught me by surprise this time, but when I get you…” She took to the air and flew after her assailant, vowing revenge.

*

Lisa, Justin and Amanda walked down the long tunnel in silence. Amanda wondered why there were lights on the walls, and where they were going. As if reading her thoughts, Lisa answered her question for her

“Don’t worry, this tunnel leads to our other base. The others will meet up with us later.”

“I’m so sad to hear that.” A voice drawled from up ahead.

Lisa and Justin gasped loudly,

“You…you’re alive?” Lisa cried, “I thought you were dead!”

“You know what thought did,” the man with the blue hair laughed, walking towards Lisa and Justin, an energy ball forming in his hand.

Wow Mark this was yet another exciting chapter!

A very good chapter, Mark, extremely descriptive. Love Justin's attitude, Vikki's emotional side and so on. I'm intrigued as to who the man with blue hair is at the end. Please don't leave us hanging for so long because I'll hound you for info if I have to! :gasp:
