No, charger! NOT YOU TOO!

Close, but no cigar. Vista needs 1gb of dedicated memory to run on a machine. W2k on the other hand, needs only 32mb. What that means is the computer running on Vista has 1gb to run programs besides the operating system while the computer running on Windows 2000 has 1gb and 992mb to run programs besides the os.

2nd comp = 1.96gb memory
3rd comp = 1gb memory

*1gb = 1024mb

Yeah, we're all aware that Vista requires more memory, but it still runs fine for me. As long as you've got enough memory, it's no big deal.

So yeah, no Vista problems here. :monster:

That's a problem with OS's today and perhaps future OS's (by Microsoft, I should say), and one of the reasons why over 50% of people still like Windows XP. The amount of required memory increases to accommodate the same workload. XP is still equal or better than Vista. With this being the case, users would need to keep upgrading or buying RAM for each succesive os. Thus efficiency is sacrificed D:

That shit happened to me aswell, the charger thing.

The wires were sticking out and sparks were flying, until one day it just stopped charging, so I had to buy a whole new on off eBay. -_-

I plugged m dvd player in last night and the fucking plug sparked at me

If all you do is browse t'internet move to a Linux distro...magic.

If you want to pay over the odds and be a flashy fag get a Mac and pretend that there are differences beyond the OS.

If you want to play games, get a friggin' console!

If you want to complain constantly (even when you create the problems) stick with the corporate giant and get what you want out of a computer for the majority of the time.

If you want to stick a hoover into your PC...don't.

PS: Dave's right, Microsoft aren't to blame for damage you cause to your equipment.

Rofl, I bet he's taking note of this moment in his diary.

I hate windows.. I miss my Mac, it was so much friendlier.
