Anyone played this game yet? I downloaded the demo and I think it's a tad bit better than Ninja Gaiden Black from the looks of it, although the camera angle sucks. But the graphics and the features in the game are awesome. Ryu has a lot more weapons here I think...(I've only played half of Ninja Gaiden Black so I'm not sure how many weapons he had). The Lunar Staff and Eclipse Scythe are definitely kick-ass!

He does some crazy moves too, though I'm not too sure about the dismemberment parts. =/ I thought that was a bit too much, but whatever makes the game look tight and bloody, I guess.

I'm thinking of getting the actual game in a few months, maybe...so it would be nice to get some feedbacks on the pros and cons.
 
I heard the game isn't hard as much as it is cheap. Also, I heard the AI is inconsistent, ranging from stupid to 'holy-f***-it's-brilliant'. There's at least one boss that you have to be COMPLETELY illogical to beat and the game is buggy as hell later on. I'd say the glitches kick in about halfway through. And there was some issue with the first patch too, though that's probably fixed by now.
 
Great, so one negative feedback so far. =/ I hope they did fix the glitches at least. I'm not so great with hack & slash games (unless it's FF-related or KH) but this one seems to be pretty fun so far. I'm looking forward to the storyline at least...
 
i liked it, but i agree. The decapitation and limb severing got a slight bit too much. However, the charging moves are great. i loved them and when you kill the downed enemy, it looks so bad ass. However, that happened just a little bit too often. Oh, they also toned the difficulty down.
 
Im not really big on the game and I could really careless about Ryu Hayabusa I got the game on 360 and i got it for one reason only, to play as my favorite DOA character Ayane and found out she was a ps3 exclusive with momiji and so i stopped playing the 360. Got ninjia gaiden 2 on ps3 played, I dont mind playing through ryu and enjoying the game (even though i dont really care) in chapter 11 you finally get ayane and I LOVED IT!!! after i beat the game i did all the missions with ayane xD

Im excited for ninja gaiden 3 only if ayane comes back though :(
