It's an MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online RPG), you pay a sum of money per month for your subscription. It's the same as XI you creat a cahracter and explore an open world with tons of other people doing the same thing.

Ooh, is that Level 5's NinoKuni game I see? Why is it that I'm more fascinated in that (as it's a non-SE game) than the other games on there?

Anyway, I'm loving the individual designs of the jobs in FFXIV. The art team really do work wonders in their Tokyo HQ.
