All i can say right now... Shocking.

Ravens knock off top team Titans.

Eagles knock off top team Giants.

Arizona beats second place Panthers.

Chargers can possibly take out the second place team Steelers.

Are all the wild card teams taking out the Division champs? What went wrong for these top teams?

I was shocked when the titans, a team that went 10-0 to start the season lost 13-10 to the ravens. That was the biggest surprise to me.

Thoughts?
 
If San Diego were to win - what odds would you have got midway or 3/4 of the way through the season that Philadelphia, Arizona and San Diego would be in the Championship games? Arizona are hosting the NFC Championship game, and if San Diego win, they could do the same! Which is pretty crazy after the regular seasons they had really.

I think we all underestimated Arizona, maybe they were being deliberately rubbish in the latter half of the season to lull everyone into a false sense of security.

All it shows is how open things have been this year - turnovers killed Miami, Carolina and Tennessee so far, and New York just never got their offense firing. Tennessee went 10-0 to start with but after that they were 3-4 and so they didn't have the momentum that Baltimore had maybe.

Reminds me abit of the season the giants had last year then surprising everyone and going to the superbowl and then winning it.

I was shocked enough to see the Colts lose to the Chargers after the colts winning there last 9 games. And the Chargers barley making the playoffs.

So i'm thinking atm that if Pittsburgh wins, they will have a good shot to win the superbowl. If they lose then i'm thinking Baltimore. I'm thinking that on the other side that Philly has a chance to win aswell. Can't wait to see the outcome.

Ok! here it is! The Official Super Bowl Thread!

Which teams are going to battle it out in the most watched event in television history? Will it be; The Arizona Cardinals OR The Philadelphia Eagles VS. The Baltimore Ravens OR The Pittsburgh Steelers? Make your choice, voice your opinion and let us all know who you think is going to ultimately become the Super Bowl champions! HELL! Even let us know if you could care less about any of the teams battling for a Super Bowl spot.

I'm torn between the Eagles and Cardinals because I've been a long time eagles fan, but I think Kurt Warner, Edgerrin James, Anquan Boldin & Larry Fitzgerald all deserve a shot so much that I may actually be behind them. And as for the AFC I'm goin for the Raven's because I play Free Safety myself, and Ed Reed is a huge inspiration, oooooo, that sparked something in my mind. If the Eagles went, Dawkins and Reed, the two dominate Safeties in the league would be at war for the trophy! Ugh, I'm torn again... well let me know what YOU think.
 
I gotta give it to the Eagles vs. Steelers for superbowl match up. Both great teams McNabb has done a good job after comin off of his knee injury last season and Big Ben done prety great too. And outta them givin it to my Steelers. J. Farrior is a sacking machine.(and my personal favorite seein as I play LB lol) And just overall I mean this season has been pretty good for em. Big Ben has had some dominating drives and can't forget Polamalu big key in that defense. Plus we've already taken out Baltimore and we need a rematch against Philly lol.
 
Well I predicted Pittsburgh to win the Superbowl early on in the season and though it'll be tight, I will stick with them as my choice to at least beat Baltimore this weekend. As for the NFC game I think that Philadelphia might be like the Giants last year, they're thriving on being on the road and being the underdogs, and I'm tipping them to beat an Arizona side who have already proved me wrong twice in these playoffs.

My new favorite member! Hells ya! I'm a huge Steelers fan. I honestly think the Ravens will be tough to take down but the Titans would've been harder. I do fear Ed Reed and Lorenzo Neal but I'm confident we can take them down a peg or two. It'll be a tough fight for yardage but hopefully the Football Gods give us a couple blessings. We only beat them by 3 the first game and 4 the second game. If we played like we did against the Chargers though, we should pull through. It will be tough though.

As for the Eagles game, I do hope the Eagles win... just because I want revenge. They're one of four teams that beat us in the regular season and they did not deserve that win. The Colts, Giants, and Titans are all tough teams and I'm fine that they beat us in the regular season... but the Eagles blew. They need to be put in their place. So here's to hoping they win their next game so we can beat them fucking senseless.
 
I would like to see a Ravens vs. Cardinals match in the super bowl. It has been sooooo long since the cards were in the playoffs that I want them to go all the way. They started the season kinda poorly, so the fact that they made it this far is pretty good.

Sniff Sniff. All of the teams I was rutting for has lost. Both of the Mannings are out of the running for the Superbowl.

Oh yea, that's a real crying fucking shame. Now the cameraman can't pan up to the stands to show their parents every 5 fucking seconds. I respect the Colts but the Giants can go fuck themselves. Eli's a choke artist and the only bigger bitch in the league than Tony Romo.

How can he be a choke artist after last year?! You don't have to like him but that's a pretty harsh description.
 
Is anyone watching Philadelphia v Arizona? What a game! Arizona totally in control for the first half and now Philadelphia have gone from 24-6 down to 25-24 ahead. And there's still eight minutes to go, could be a few more twists in this game. Complete turnaround over the last quarter and a half though.
 
Ya i was suprised that the Cardinals broke down during the second half =\
And Larry Fitzgerald in the first half was a beast! 3 touchdowns in one half.. Just amazing.
 
And the Cardinals push one more TD in! Yeah!!!

I'm rooting for whoever comes out of the NFC.

I want the Cardinals to win, I love their Corner Dominique Rogers-Cromartie, and he's been a beast as of late. He gave up a pretty sweet play to Desean Jackson just a few minutes ago, but it was a crazy play.

Here's to hoping the Cards hold on!
 
Yes! I'm so happy that they won, not only because i bet on them to win, but my favourite running back, James is on it. He used to play for the colts but got traded and i'm just happy to see that he won it and is going to the superbowl!
 
So Cards and Steelers, eh? Cardinals really did good in the game against the Eagles. They were such a shit team during the regular season but they've come alive in the playoffs.
