Today, gamers have been told the date of when they will know what the next installment of
Call of Duty
will be called.
You can go to the site now to check this out, but when you arrive at callofduty.com, there is a sign that says, "Call of Duty, World Reveal, Tune in May 1st, Basketball playoffs on TNT." Then when you click the "X," located at the top right corner of the graphic, you see a call of Duty logo with screens that say, "Classified." Finally at the bottom, in true Call of Duty style, gamers see a countdown clock that leads up to the announcement on May 1st. This is hardly surprising news to hear that there is going to be another Call of Duty this year. Duty has become like Madden in the sense that gamers know there will be a new game each year, which is not a bad thing. Call of Duty has advertised with the NBA playoffs quite a lot in recent years, to make announcements and release trailers, so it makes sense that they would announce their next game during a playoff game.

So for all of you CoD fans, the new CoD of the year is going be announced next week....
So what do you guys think? Going get it no matters what? Sick of CoD? CoD the best games ever? discuss.

If its black ops 2 with zombies I will buy it. Without zombies I wont buy it. Im sick of cod, sick of campers, sick of ppl using silencers with kill death ratios tht are not deserved. They should ban silencers/surpressors.

Rumour: In-game Black Ops 2 shots show Quadrotor in action

The special effects team that worked on the FPSRussia Quadrotor video that’s appeared in relation to the next Call of Duty announcement on Tuesday has posted a photo showing in-game shots of the drone in Black Ops 2.

Reel Efx posted indirect pictures of the Quadrotor being shown in-game. The images were posted on the company’s website, but have since been pulled. MP1st grabbed the images before it was yanked, however.

The video released earlier this week by FPSRussia suggested the game – now heavily likely to be Black Ops 2 – will take place some 10-15 years in the future.

The latest tease for next week’s announcement on the CoD website shows the logo for Tacitus.

The announcement for the next CoD happens on Tuesday night US time/early Wednesday morning UK time during the NBA Playoffs.

Well, I am stoked! ♥ I love the CoD series and I always have (been a fan so long I can remember when it was lame to like it) :wacky: Anyway, I'll definitely check back on May 1st to see what it'll be called. :ryan:

Black Ops 2 pre-order cards show up at Target

A shot of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 pre-order cards has been sent in to IGN showing a release date of November 13.

The cards pretty much confirm the name of the title, as well as the date, both of which have been the rumor du jour for over a month now.

Earlier this week, a viral video FPSRussia suggested the game will take place some 10-15 years in the future, and a logo for the game on the CoD website mentioned Tacitus, along with many other flashing “classified” items.
The game is set for a formal reveal on May 1 during the NBA Playoffs Tuesday night.
