Ok, how about making a no experience area as hunting grounds? Of course, the reward is something better. You see, each monster will drop a special component called "??? Point" which, after getting a few, you'll get a special reward worth that hard work. Normal monsters drop 1 point, rare monsters drop 5, and extremely hard to find monsters drop 10 points and up
So you can set the encounter rate to say....80% chance of seeing a 'normal' monster. 15% chance of seeing a Rare monster. And 5% chance of seeing an Ultra rare monster?
Why not have the ability to choose a reward?
20 Points = ______
30 Points= _______
and so on.
Obviously the items get progressively better as the number of points needed grows. As for the items themselves...what about Weapons or Armour? Or perhaps a medallion or ribbon as proof of your power?
I think it should be an achievement system and not a currency system. For example when you get 30 you automatically get the item instead of having to buy it.
I think the annoying part is just how much they use Curaga. One time they used it five or six times in a row, and just kept spamming it on the entire team when I would get one chocobo down to low HP or death.
Meteor and Haste aren't that bad, though. I think Curaga is the only imbalanced part. xD
