I'm not impressed. I've seen some really sexy GIMP tags and none of them look like this. In half of them I can't even tell where the stock is or even what it is. All of them are lacking the basic elements of a tag: light, depth, and colors. The later tags are less eye sores to look at but you still seriously need a lot of work. I highly recommend reading tutorials before just throwing stuff together and hoping that it looks good because right now it really doesn't.
If we're just going to candy coat the critique with "these are lovely!! keep up the great work!!", how do you expect them to improve? They're not.
