I jog a few miles each day out of boredom. Like most people, I listen to good ol' music while doing it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good music to listen to while running? My dad suggested something by Diana Ross & The Supremes. I think he's screwin' with me. No way I'm listening to that. haha

Lemme think...

Well...for running, something upbeat is probably best. Any suggestion at all works, though. =D

I'll probably try jogging to Diana Ross & The Supremes for kicks. I Hear a Symphony!

Try listening to some James :monster: Its rather upbeat and bloody good aswel

Or what about abit of Queen :monster:

Queen's good stuff! Good idea right there.

But James? I'll look for some stuff by that fellow. I hope I don't get James Blunt stuff.

hahaha nuuu

James are a GROUP, a manchester group I may add and they are made of complete win

Oh what about the Killers?

Depends what you're in to really. Personally, I like stuff like Foo Fighters and Muse's more up-beat songs if I'm feeling pro-active. Or anything with bass. Maybe a bit of Tiesto.

Try listening to Survivor, most especially "Eye of the Tiger". They did have a scene where Rocky was jogging and that song was playing. "Burning Heart" is also quite good. 80's songs rock!

You might also wanna try listening to some reggae music. Those can be really inspirational when doing workouts.

Hahaha, yes xD You could jog up the stairs at your city hall and start hopping up and down waving your arms triumphantly. And if we're going for the whole old music thing, try some Village People and James Brown.

Or if you want newer music...hmmm....Red Hot Chili Peppers and Audioslave, maybe?

Jimi Hendrix will keep you running, mmm specially all along the watchtower.

and oasis, and maybe prodigy

Andrew WK :elmo:

I get wet is a win album tbh. Though I think it could be a little too upbeat for jogging. :monster:

Lol, I agree with Mitsuki that Eye of the Tiger would be ideal. xD

Well, if you are wanting something upbeat.. There's Queen, which someone suggested, Don't Stop Me Now especially. And, perhaps some stuff by The Offspring? Such as Hit That, Pretty Fly... depends what you like ofcourse. I would say U2 but I don't know if that's upbeat enough...

I was gunna suggest U2 aswe, I guess you would have to handpick your selection so you can have the likes of Elevation, Beautiful day, Vertigo etc.....

RHCP's is a good bet. Soundgarden were better than Audioslave though.
