Mortal Kombat Rebirth

I hope it will fix up the series a bit but after VS DC I'm not getting my hopes up.
but i can be proven wrong.

Would like to think some good will come from this movie, but it didn't give enough detail.. I guess we'll see.

that looks awesum, well from the small amount of information Given it does anyway,

Scorpion working for the good guys. . . wtf. . . he is a signature baddie.

and as for Sub Zero, i swore he was dead, but i guess not.

this looks awesum

Considering how movie version of video games (and vice versa) usually turn out. I don't have high hopes for the movie :/

It's a bit weird, because they are messing with the Lore a bit. Though I will say Johnny cage dying by Baraka was a big... "Huh?" Though Scorpion coming back into the tournament to kill Sub Zero is actually in the Lore. So This should be interesting.

Looks pretty cool. That kick Cage did on Baraka when he was down was fucking epic.

As for Scorpian being the main "good" guy, that's not too bad, considering what happens in MK Deception.

To be fair to the Lore, Johnny Cage did die in the games (Mortal Kombat 3 to be exact), though the lore changed in that their is no supernatural forces involved from the look of things.

Still it's a VG Movie so will not watch.

I thought he died in 2, which is why he wasn't in 3?

Haven't played the originals in years so memory is abit fuzzy.

On Tuesday we brought you a short film titled Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. As suspected, the short was proof-of-concept for a gritty ‘R’ rated version of a feature film for the video game franchise. The video was directed by Fame director Kevin Tancharoen (surprising, right?), and thanks to Collider’s interview with him, we’ve got some more great details on the short.

Tancharoen is a huge Mortal Kombat fan, and he used this as a calling card to show that he could make a genre film. You may recognize a few of the main cast, including Michael Jai White (Spawn) as Jax and Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager) as Sonya Blade. According to Tancharoen, they shot the short in April on two RED cameras for $7,500. The actors and crew donated their time, and at least White would be back for the feature film. For a lot more on the short, as well as the potential feature, listen to Collider’s interview below, or read it in full on their website.

Screams "summer action", but I'd see it.

Trailer for people to see.
At first I was all; 8( then I saw the beginning and started :spaz: and then I saw Johnny Cage and was all:tard:
Until I saw him get
killed
