ok, I can only have 10 lines of text in my sig, but I wanna have some stuff in there which exceeds 10 lines. Could you please make it a higher number?

I'd like to add something to this. Why can't I have more than one pic in my sig? It's small as hell, but it won't allow me to put it in.
I think 10 lines is enough. Otherwise people are going to be having huge sigs, and if that happens in too many cases the server won't be able to hold the amount and will therefore eiter slow down a lot or possible even crash altogether

Ok cool. Cuz basically I just wanted to put a sprite as my next sig picture. But I can wait till then. Ehh....it's 50 posts or 100 posts till I'm a full member?
I think its fine as it is. Surely there cant be that much stuff you want in a sig? Just remember that some peoples PC have longer to load cause of all your stuff in your sig.

yea, I usually hate when there are no limitations on boards. Sometimes people can really put too much in. Even right now I think the standard is very lenient. I was pretty used to the only one pic rule with text and some buttons
I doubt that this request will follow through. Ten lines is already an increase from the previous seven lines [of which, I believe you will recall the big argument that everyone had with Darkblade because he wouldn't increase the size xD]. It'll all boil down to the archaic users who still use Dial-Up [no offence to anyone who actually uses it xD] and have difficultes when browsing the forums if signatures take up too much space.
Before someone points it out as "unfair," the staff get more lines [to what extent, I do not know] for their signature as a priveledge. Want more lines? Try your damndest and get on the staff xD
But seriously, I often think ten lines is plenty. I just like to use my priveledge at the moment :]
Ten lines is fair enough and why would you want a lot of lines in your signature anyway? It's not like everyone's going to read it all and focus on that. No, I feel ten lines is enough for now. As for the second picture, like others have said, you can wait until you reach Full Member status.

That's my feeling - TBH I won't actually read more than 3 lines of text in a sig.
What's even more annoying is huge pictures or ones that are really long vertically. Then you have to scroll down to read the next post.

but, like in my case, people might want something importnt or something. Such as me, i wanted to add a 'joke of the day' thing in my sig, only to learn I can't fit one due to it exceeding 10 lines. Even in smalles size it didn't....

Maybe if you have the joke of the day in a smaller text, that way it wouldn't require that many lines. Needs to be big enough to read though

A "joke of the day" isn't going to be longer than ten lines, trust me. Just gain more posts and I'm sure your signature limits will lessen. Besides, what's so important about having so many lines in your signature? Signatures are signatures. They're not of great importance, although it is nice to have one at times.
In my opinion, the only real reason we have signatures in the first place is to be able to easily tell the difference between members. Be lucky you have one in the first place.
Having too long of a sig (exceeding ten lines) will use up more bandwidth. Heck, last night/early this morning, I found that FFF crashed because the bandwidth was exceeded. I doubt we need to increase signature size beyond our given privileges because of exactly that.
SO keep it as it is...less crashes that way.
