i thaught these games needed a bit more ff in them, and less Disney, i mean only like 3 worlds max had ff charecters in them, i really was hoping to actually go to one of the worlds any of the ff characters lived in...

i just wanted to know who agreed

I used to think that it would be nice to have at least one or two FF worlds.

Having the Disney worlds were fun and mostly well designed... However I felt that the FF element, which is initially the reason I got the first game, was lacking. The FF cameos were mostly inaccurate and pretty lame in comparison to their true FF counterparts (Tidus, Selphie and Wakka being reduced to children playing on the beach with sticks, a beach ball and skipping rope, for example).

Then I realised that we have to take this differently. If we take it as an alternate universe, and that these characters are not meant to be those from FF's, but alternate versions of them that appear in these worlds. That made it easier for me to accept these when I played the game.

I thought a lot about worlds too. I think they pretty much made Hollow Bastion / Radiant Garden into the world where all the FF characters came from (or at least where they all group now)... I felt that was a bit lame really. I was thinking about places they could use from FF and have FF worlds, such as Midgar, the Red Moon, and the Interdimensional Rift...

Not too sure if they would work though. I mean most FF cameos are not really their FF counterparts at all... If suddenly locations are used from FF games, then the cameos would make even less sense. They'd have to completely change the locations and probably make it a completely different place to fit what they have already started with Kingdom Hearts.

I think KH needs to have better cameos and then it can perhaps have some locatons too, but for now it is better at giving us the Disney side than it is the FF side.

While Disney worlds are good and make up the core of the games, I do agree that one or two FF worlds should be added, along with more characters. It would make Kingdom Hearts more popular with the hardcore gamers who think that Kingdom Hearts is for kids because of all the Disney in it. It'd be quite fun as well, being able to run around Lindblum from FFIX. X3

I'm gonna be the odd one out here and say: No, I disagree.

Personal opinion, this is based on nothing to do with fact, but honestly speaking, I feel this has become KH's own plot than it has a FF and Disney Crossover. If anything, I would like to see more of both. Sure, I'd like to see Mickey Mouse, Donald, and Goofy running through Lindblum, but I also would like to see a bigger party choice than just Sora, Donald and Goofy with an extra character for most worlds.

The idea of it originally was solely the crossover, until Mickey was replaced with Sora and all it grew from there. Don't get me wrong, I love the KH plot. Organisation XIII, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, etc etc. They're all great creations, but I'd willingly sacrifice them to enjoy seeing Cloud in Disney Castle. To see Squall Lion it up with Simba. To see Zidane vine race with Tarzan (which brings another important point, where's Zidane? -__-). I feel like there wasn't enough of a crossover tbqh, you may think it's probably me just being greedy, but it is what I want to see.

But aye, sure, there were plenty of Disney Worlds, but when you think about the actual impact they had on the story, it wasn't really worth it =/.

To sum up what I'm saying; More Disney and Final Fantasy character interactions, please.

First off, they need to draw characters from the entire series, not just FF VI-X. I would love to see Chaos as a bonus boss fight, or the four Elemental Lords from FF IV serve as major bosses in the game(and force you to fight them all at once, like in IV)

Basically, they need to draw characters and worlds from all the games in the FF series.

Also, if Square Enix really wanted to go the extra mile, they would add the Dragon Quest series to the mix. Offer the heroes, bosses, enemies, and worlds of Dragon Quest as major additions to the KH III.

Not only would this offer something for fans of all three franchises, but it might help spark interest in Dragon Quest over here in the west. If the series was given a good showing, it might attract fans who would have probably ignored Dragon Quest.

That would be awesome having the Four Fiends and Sora fighting them at once instead of the Sephiroth = OWA combo..
Or even just having Kefka or Kuja for a challenge. Sora could fight Kuja and then shock him by transforming into his trance mode..

Don't mind the lack of Final Fantasy worlds because it's the Disney that makes the game kind of special and it's the Final Fantasy that makes the game kind of more mature.. too much maturity would create a huge line between younger and older players..

Though KH does need less Final Fantasy VII/ Advent Children and more Zidane more Quina more Rosa more Cecil...

Though a Midgar world or a Balamb Garden world wouldn't hurt =3

The way I would love to see it happen is for Garland to appear as an early boss with a kidnapped Disney princess(like he did with Sara in FF I) and lose to Sora in that battle.

Hide Chaos away as a hidden boss for the player to find, while still letting the optional battle carry some ties to the storyline(Garland seeking revenge for his defeat earlier in the game by transforming into Chaos in an attempt to defeat Sora.) Hell, if they wanna take it a step further, toss the Warrior of Light in there as a guest character.

Personally, I'd like to see less Final Fantasy. There's something to me that doesn't feel quite right, I don't mind places like Traverse Town having Final Fantasy characters in them, I thought they worked wonders, but with Kingdom Hearts II it felt that Square Enix were putting them in there for the sake of it, I can't remember any of them having a major impact on the storyline.

As for Disney, again I think they could cut down and cut stuff out like Mulan and Ariel worlds, but on the whole worlds like Aladdin, Tarzan et al were very pleasant. All being said, after completing Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, due to such a good storyline and character development, especially between Roxas and Xion, I'd like to see more originallity in Kingdom Hearts III and add more Kingdom Hearts characters like Sora, Riku, Kairi etc.

Firstly I think they could've cut back on the Disney worlds in KHII. It's not that I didn't like it, but I felt that a few of the Disney worlds were just chucked in as filler. IMO, SE should either give more purpose to these filler worlds or just cut them out.

Now as for the FF characters/worlds. I think it needs to be remembered that while Kingdom Hearts isn't necessarily a game which can only be enjoyed by children, I think KH's primary audience is of a younger variety. As such, a certain level of innocence needs to be maintained and this is done by giving Disney a strong presence. While I wouldn't mind seeing a few more FF characters, I don't think they should overshadow the Disney characters too much.

In my opinion the idea of including too much mature, Final Fantasy stuff reminds me of that group of 20 year old men who hang out at the arcade all day and hog all the games for themselves.

I like it as it is. Some people think the FF characters were ruined by KH, too many would've been overkill.
I also think that a bit more than three worlds have FF characters in them.. Twilight Town, Traverse Town, Destiny Islands, Radiant Garden, Olympus Coliseum..
Plus there were quite a lot of them even if they weren't in that many worlds. :]

I'm pretty happy with it to be honest.

In my opinion, I think the first Kingdom Hearts did a pretty good job with integrating the Disney worlds with the story. It was pretty fun going through the levels based on the movies. After a while, I realized that there were no such worlds for the Final Fantasy characters, and I was pretty disappointed. Honestly, they were only there for fanservice. I don't really think that FF characters were "ruined" by KH, but I don't think they got as much attention has they could've had.

A couple of worlds from the Final Fantasy games would've been very welcome, but they've diminished such hope after stating that all the FF characters come from Hollow Bastion. <_<

Also, after KHII, I'm starting to see the Disney worlds become more like filler. The new KH games seem to have a lot of focus on the original characters rather than the Final Fantasy characters or even the Disney characters.

For me, I wouldn't mind seeing either a few more FF characters or just more interaction with the characters in the Disney worlds.

We got Cloud in the Colosseum world before, then Auron in the same world for II. What do we have next? As far as I know, just one other character in the Disney worlds...and they're STILL ON HERCULES' WORLD. Some variety would not be that bad at all.

I'd also agree on (still with 2 others out at once) at least 2 extra people (one preferably an FF character, but at least more than one extra in ONE world) to follow Sora. Of course, I wouldn't mind always using either Donald or Goofy, it's just as I said before, variety would be nice.

I liked it just as it was. I felt like a kid again going through all the disney worlds and regressing back to my childhood when I used to watch the films. I think if they did too much it would ruin the game as its not meant to be compleatly about FF.

Definitely. The Disney additive is far too positive for me to enjoy. Where's the conflict? The struggle? It's far too cliche.

More final fantasy would be the best thing that happened to kingdom hearts. There were no ff characters in 358/2 days, and I think only Zack is going to be in Birth by Sleep, but more original characters as well, disney is to kid-oriented and kingdom hearts is getting a storyline that is a lot darker and not so kid-friendly.

I don't think I'd necessarily want to see and FF world. I like that the worlds are either orginal ones or Disney ones...I feel like an FF one wouldn't really fit. Kind of like how the pirates of the carribean world stuck out like a sore thumb (I thought anyway).

It's true that there aren't an awful lot of FF characters who make major appearances (there are lots if you can't all the minor ones like tidus and selphie on destiny islands or the gullwing fairy things) but I feel like there's a LOT of FF influence throughout the plot. The disney side has all the worlds and the levels but the FF influence can definitely be felt in the overall darker plot. This is especially true in the second game where the plot got a lot more complicated and well...FF-ish. I'm expecting Birth by Sleep will also be heavily influenced by the FF half from what i've seen of characters. I've been happy with the balance they've had so far although there are a few places where it's easy to tell it's hard to find that balance. Overall I think it's held up well but it will be interesting to see where it goes if we get a third...

The amount of FF characters has like died since Disney took over more of Kingdom Hearts (around CoM or KH2). I mean KH2 they were barely relevant to the plot, in Days there was only a moogle and in BBS there is
only Zack in Olympus!
Essentially it has become a original and disney crossover made by Square-Enix.

I do wish the FF characters would do more but sadly the odds seem low.

I can honestly say I don't think of any original characters in KH series are cool. That space is occupied by FF characters. Though, I'm quite angry about how they changed Sephiroth's personality. Why would he want a Gayblade? You don't give up the Masamune for a blunt object that is shaped like a key >.>

Probably because in the KH universe a keyblade= ultimate power...or pretty close to it anyway..it's all chosen and whatnot (of course now that we know there are literally like a MILLION..that's desputable)...and Sephiroth is pretty much all over anything that will give him more power...
