Yes this is different. Anyway, do you guys have any stories to share?

I remember the Middle school graduation prom. My date was actually my two friends Juan and Eduardo. We had about an hour to get showered and dressed after we came home because prom was poppin right after school.

I got all dressed and cleaned, Juan came to my place to pick me up. We then went to Eduardo's place to pick him up. But he had already left. Joy. This was the start of our night.

So we get to the school and music was blasting and a few people were there already. We found Eduardo. Now my vice principal for some reason hated my guts, so you can imagine the face she made at me when I walked into the prom wearing a T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers! XD

Anyway, the night went on, we had quite a few cups of soda and were drunk as hell. I'm kinda being the bore at this point, so Eduardo decided to go dance a bit. Then they announced prom king and queen which I never had a chance of winning. The pop kids won, yay move on.

Then we had some cake which was nice. Then Juan leaves me by myself while he went to dance. I eventually got bored and walked around a bit. After I sat back down, they start playing this song (can't recall the name) and every friggin body started dropping it like it was hot. I kid you not. Every male and female in that building were doing it. Pure madness.

Anyway, they eventually kicked us out. So I went home with my pal Richie because we were going to Madison Square Garden the next day for a WWE show. So we got like, 3 hours of sleep that night. I regret nothing! That prom was damn fun and the next day was even better.

So to put the story shortly:

Go to prom with two dudes
Drop it like it's hot
Leave with a totally different dude.

We don't have proms etc etc and we don't do the whole King and Queen crap.

Our formals were pretty average. Go out to a restuarant/hotel and eat dinner and dance etc etc.

Oh and we had to dance with the opposite sex and do an actual dance that we all spent weeks learning at school.
It was complete shit. I hated the guys at school so having to dance with them was so not cool. <_<

I never went to my year 11 semi-formal and the year 10 dinner dance and year 12 formal were just a load of crap. It was so not worth my time but unfortunately they made us go.
It was already paid in the school fees upfront every year, so it was either go, or lose your money.

I went to Homecoming with one of my friends. She never put make-up on before. That night, she freshened up all nice and wore a GORGEOUS pink dress. I had to do a double take when she called my name when I was looking for her. She looked STUNNING and I was told by quite a few people that she was the prettiest looking girl there and I felt SO happy for her! It was a really great night :)

I've never been to a dance. I was busy being a very angry and neglected child in my youth. Also, believing that I was quote on quote, "too mexican" for girls. Which is funny, because now everyone just tells me that I'm white :elmo: I guess i did look like pedro for a while there though

It's something I always wanted to do, but a little late for it now, you know? :wacky:

i dont dance but i imagine if i bothered to go to any of the americanised pishy events that the school put on to make pupils feel like they were adults it would've been the most boring, suicide-inducing moment of my entire life. i might have just got pissed and spewed over people and told teachers (if they are present. i don't even know) that they are utter arseholes.

i soopa toorbo minty fresh mad out of it deli hated school. but not as much as i hated dancing. my hatred for dancing has only worsened since.
