Multiple Platforms Marvel vs Capcom 3

<FONT color=#0d5af7>Marvel heroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America already have solo titles in works, but a new "Marvel vs. Capcom" title may beat some of them out, depending on how legit rumors about "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" turn out to be.
"Marvel vs. Capcom 3" will be announced in May, according a confident "leak" by a poster named Henaki at Team Spooky. Henaki also claimed that a PC version of "Super Street Fighter 4" would be unveiled sometime in the future, and he may be believable on both fronts, as he learned of the entire "SSF4" fighter roster before it was public.

"Tatsunko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars" producer Ryota Niitsuma said that "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" went a long way in introducing Japan to Marvel's characters, and given the company's current push to flood the world's movie theaters with its heroes, a third game in the series would be appropriately timed about now.

I just hope that if "Street Fighter 4" characters start showing up they throw in a Marvel boss strong enough to stand up to Seth. M.O.D.O.K., for example would be an excellent choice, and some love for Captain Britain and Beta Ray Bill would go a long way as well. Yeah the trailer looks pretty damn hot I will admit. Glad we got some Darkstalkers, Res Evil and Deadpool thrown in this time. Even playing as Iron Man will be awesome. I havent played the previous Capcom VS Marvel series, but this 1 is a defo for me.

I saw the trailer for this like 3 days ago.

I'm psyched that Chris Redfield will be in it.

I was laughing too because 2 guys did an overview of the trailer, and they thought that his silhouette was Frank West's.

Anyways, this looks like a really promising sequel.

I just hope it doesn't become like the SF4, where it was highly anticipated and it ended up disappointing people.

I hope it's based off his Tatsunoko VS Capcom movelist. Frank is one of my favorite characters to use in that game,

So far I am already impressed. Chris is in it so I am already looking forward to the game. As Seiji says I hope this game does not turn out to be a disappointment especially after waiting so long for it to actually come out.

This Is pretty cool. Although in the trailer the only charcter I like so far is Morrigan Aeinsland! Man but she is really sexy in the trailer! I think this could be the best fighting game ever except King of fighters XIII

I've never really played a Marvel vs Capcom before. I think I might have played the original one for 5 minutes in an airport arcade while I was waiting for a flight as a child. Other than that I haven't ever played one.

If that is indeed Deadpool then that is fantastic news! The silhouette certainly does look like him, and he seems a reasonable guess due to his rising popularity, but I wouldn't trust guesses on who might be characters based on those. They can sometimes be very misleading. The guesses are probably correct though (as I'm guessing that they pick the most popular characters for these games, rather than obscure ones). The one they labelled as Captain America would surprise and confuse me if it didn't turn out to be Captain America.

How many characters do these games usually have? I'd be interested to find out just how many Marvel characters are in this. I might get it if there are quite a few. I'd love them to be daring and shove some of the more obscure / less popular characters into it as I think that some of them would have very interesting movesets... Squirrel Girl vs Doom would be great to play out in a game, for example.

As for Capcom, I regret to say that I haven't played many Capcom games at all in my life. In fact I'm not sure if I've ever played any.

Ok I have played some... Devil May Cry (only briefly) and Okami (I've seen being played and took control for a bit). I'm familiar with some of the others, but have never played them. So from the Capcom lot I can't say what I would love to see, but Okami would be quite ace.

Chris Redfield vs the Hulk in that trailer? I'd like to say that Chris has no chance, but having never played an RE game before and knowing for a fact that he kicks zombie / undead giant monster ass he probably can hold his own afterall. Still... I'd be concerned if I decided to go at the Hulk with a pistol!

Looking good so far, but we aren't shown much from that trailer at all, and no actual game footage. I'll have to keep my eye open for this one though.

Quite a few. Marvel VS Capcom has 18 characters to start with and 6(?) hidden characters and the roster is split evenly between Marvel and Capcom. I can't remember how many characters there are exactly in Marvel VS Capcom 2 but I do remember it is over 50. Half of the Marvel cast is from X-men while Half of the Capcom cast is from Street Fighter. You really should look into more capcom games. They're quite diverse soI am sure you will find some games you like from them.

Im into the marvel roster a lot since i dont know much of capcom games,i really wanna see my fav marvel character titanium man in this game,colossus,luke cage,rhino,and carnage,even thor,and thing,ahh too much!!

It has been confirmed that it is Deadpool, it was mentioned on the last SentuaMessage on XBox LIVE. So very good news

yap,deadpool is 100% confirmed to be in the game,its cuz he has a ton of fans out there. I was never a fan of deadpool, who i really want in the game is titanium man and better version of colossus. I dont see anything bad to put mugen characters in the game(characters that could be downloaded in pc in previous games).
