Well they want people to vote apparently. In fact forget about the 10 I said. That was an estimate. Anyway according to this... Just remember it happened with SF so it is entirely possible. For Marvel. I am entering the Capcom one and gonna vote like this:

1: Jon Talbain (Darkstalkers)

2: Chibiterasu (Okamiden)

3: Frank West (Dead Rising)

4: Nero (Devil May Cry 4)

All of you feel free to do the same if you want, or at least include Jon Talbain as a request. :gasp:

Won't matter much either way though, the voting ends on February 19th (I am just glad I didn't miss my chance to vote for real!).

Yeah, and thanks, I owe you one, I'd do anything to get Jon Talbain to be a playable character in Marvel vs Capcom: Fate of Two Worlds, because I'll be saddened if he isn't just one of the downloadable Capcom characters, it shouldn't be that much to ask... :|
 
I'll have to vote there a bit later. There are quite a few characters I would like in this game.

After a few days of playing this game kicks ass. Seriously I really enjoy the art style of the game. Can't wait for Jill and Shuma to show up as DLC :awesome:
 
I'd love to see the likes of Strider Hiryu, Vergil, Date Masamune and maybe Ken? :hmmm: would be entertaining at least :ryan:

On a side note, i'd kick all yo asses at MvC3 :hmph:

Although, I still haven't got the foggiest idea HOW to play the game :lew:

I'm finding my team of Chun-Li, Storm and Phoenix is working quite well. Although, I quite like Magneto and Zero as well.

The thing with Phoenix, is that she's ridiculously powerful, but her HP is AWFUL. She's the very epitome of a "glass cannon".

I think i'm starting to like the team of Dante, Iron Man and Zero :hmmm: they work pretty damn well together, especially Iron Man, surprisingly.
 
Sounds like you two had fun. I have to join you both one day. I doubt I will last too long though since I am still in the process of learning the characters as well. PS3 version correct?
 
I'll be getting the PS3 version, definitely. But most certainly not until August 26th. So far off... :sad3:

I sure hope they got enough Jon Talbain votes to have considered it worth the trouble of adding him as a DLC character enough to actually end up doing it...

Good news about not being able to play the game for a while is that any DLC characters should be available by the time I get the game. :P

Been really enjoying playing Darkstalkers Chronicle The Chaos Tower lately, just wishing that one character could be there, then I could really be getting this for more than just Amaterasu... *sighs deeply*
 
I am certainly hoping for Jon and Gambit to be DLC. I mean, the Cajun has been a mainstay in the series up until now, and rocks. Jon and Felicia are my top Darkstalker faves, and he really needs some more fan service. Amaterasu simply rocks. Her super not only looks awesome, but it covers the entire screen, leaving the opponent no safe zone; the best they can do is block or hit her before she pulls it off. So far my main team consists of Ammy, Zero and Felicia.

I know it is a long name, but it is Amaterasu, not Amaretsu. ^^;

And yeah, can't wait to use that character in MvC3, but as stated previously, I've got to wait until August 26th to play it, when I get it for my birthday... :/

When the second round of voting starts, gonna do everything in my power to get Jon Talbain as much support as I can, he has been gypped out of being a playable character in a crossover fighting game involving Capcom quite e-darn-nough, hoping it can change with Marvel vs Capcom 3 as a DLC Character.
 
Well, things are looking good for the Ragin' Cajun Gambit, and Jon is 11th on the Capcom side. I'll certainly be voting for J.T. once round 2 starts. I would love to have him on my team to replace Zero. Two wolves and a card-tossing mutant. In the words of Gambit, 'Life dun get much better den dis.'

There are a lot of spammers on this game. It's still a good game though. I just wish that they would add a viewing mode for people waiting for their turn in the search lobby. Hopefully there are some good DLC characters, too.

Funny thing is that I didn't even plan on getting this game. I just went to the store four days after the release and picked it up.

Phoenix is freaking ace. Though she is more of a range fighter (using TK Shot and TK Trap) and better kept as a support until you have LV5 Hyper Combo Bar. The Dark Phoenix Rising is a triumph card, especially if you switch characters charge a few Hyper Combo bars and abuse the Healing Field. Healing Field is a great way to counter the Dark Phoenix mode negative effects (and on a side note it looks fucking amazing).

Dark Phoenix mode is like "BURN BITCHES....FUCKING BUUUUUUUUUURN!!!" :rage:

Her health doesn't drain during X- Factor. So that adds more awesome to the awesomesauce. :monster:

I don't have a favourite team to be honest. I like to change characters from time to time to avoid boredom, though I am most familiar with Dante's, Akuma's, Zero's, Phoenix's, Spiderman's, X-23's, Wolverine's, and Wesker's movesets. I select the characters depending on what I am facing (if I get the chance to do that). If not, mostly I stick with either Wesker, Wolverine or X-23 as main combined with Dante and either Deadpool or Akuma. Akuma's toned Shun Goku Satsu (Instant Hell Murder) now named "Raging Demon" is unblockable (only way to dodge is by jumping over it as far as I've seen), fast and easy to pull out. Deadpool is great as a range fighter and close quarters, and he is excellent for comic relief.

Zero, Wolverine and X- 23 are great for Amaterasu spammers...

Wesker is awesome if you fully master his teleporting techniques (it is hard though).

The only thing I didn't like is that they missed Ken Masters and M. Bison (Vega in Japan), although I understand that Ken will follow a similar moveset to both Akuma and Ryu making his appearance redundant. Strider Hiryu should also be a must add, even more than Nero (I would rather have Virgil and his Nelo Angelo as a LV5 Hyper Mode transformation similar to Dark Phoenix Rising ANY DAY).

Also I loathe Akuma users online, every one i've faced has just spammed that spinning kick attack, on my tits, it gets :jtc: though Dante spammers are worse, least with Akuma you have a chance to avoid it.
 
I keep PvP combat to offline, between me and my friends. And they have come to both love and fear Ammy. Her supers are both gorgeous and deadly. Fire, ice and lightning striking the full stage. I've even gone through the regular 1 player game and trumped the CPU without needing to use the other characters, just Ammy ^.^
 
Ammy is indeed rock. Too bad I can't use her very well.

I have yet to actually meet an Akuma user online. I have however come across a lot of Dante/Doom/Sentinel spammers though. I do have to admit while it feels good to put them in their place I don't really feel like I gain anything out of fighting them besides a win.
