Well i've started to make sig's recently so i thought i would add my work that i have up to now that i've recently started.. At the start it wasn't so good but i think it's improved a bit.
I generally make sets, but sometimes i just make sig's or avvy's by themselves.. so far all my work has been for me, because i haven't felt confident enough to make one for somebody. Let me know what you think.

Wow pretty nice works you got there!!! Wow I like the way you did your siggys and the color you put for them. Your Zakhri one is very nice keep it up!!!
 
1st one: It's really good, mate. It's just the text that bugs me. :\

2nd one: Render isn't blended with background it's kinda of empty and plain. >.>

3rd one: It's kind of crowded, and only one color. :gasp:

4th one: I like it but it could have been better if you tried removing the white things (I know they come with the render I used it. xD) or try blending it in somehow and it'll turn out perfect.

5th one: I'm not really sure about it, it just doesn't seem right. >.>

The criticism apllies on the avys too. >.> except from Sora's and DB ones because they are kinda good.

I criticize a lot, it's just because you can't become better without it. :monster:

A Comment: They are really good for someone who recently started. ^^
 
Thanks Judith, Kei i don't mind criticism at all, and thanks Lone_Jedi, i made it and here it is... since its my latest work i'll post it here as well...

Good then, well I have to say you need work on these big siggy of yours. xDD work a bit on your text, I believe you know how to use the Blending options, right? o_O I have nothing else to say just that the render is kind of not easy to figure out. >.>
 
Not bad man, i really like the sora tag its simple and looks really good, nice background and the text is well placed, good choicee of colours.
About your aotw entry, a little tip. Cartoon tags rarely look good in black and white, cartoons are bright and filled with colour when you take the colour away your left with nothing so try and keep them bright.(i know the theme was black and white)
 
Ya Kei i have trouble with text and i can never find anything good to use. And the picture was kinda a bad one to pic because when i finished it kinda looked like darth vader when it's suppose to be Cade Skywalker..

And thanks for the tip about the Cartoon renders Laguna, i'll keep that in mind in case i make another. It did look worse after i grayscaled it =\
 
Ok sorry for the double post but its been awhile since i posted on this so i thought i would update it.

I tried out some new tutorials and such awhile back and came up with some different signatures.

fyi those avatars are brilliant, seriously.
I think u need to work on making smaller sigs, most people generally dislike sigs and its the first thing they wanna critisize when they see a tag.
I really like your Hitsugaya callout tag, it has nice colours and lighting, the text needs work but its not that bad.
Keep doing tags man, i havent seen ur work for a while. Nice stuff :)

The Avatars were just something i wanted to try out with the scan lines. Seemed to work out ok.

Ya i have been trying to make a few signatures smaller. I started working 500x150, which i never changed from. I'll probably work smaller now. Ya another thing i have to work on is my text. I'll come out with some new sigs and avvys when i get back into the groove.

Sweet Misery, thanks for the comment! And I believe you could do better, as long as you practice and try new things. Give it a shot ;)
 
You've gotta get back into your groove soon Kyle! Every step you make is towards improvement. You have the skill, now refine it. Try different styles until you find the one that fits ;))

I've not seen you make one awful piece. So you're talented. Get on with making more stuff! I wanna see some more works!!!

First sig: It's really good, one of your best if it's not the best, border is just like mine and Vik's style XDD I had the idea the Vik made the sig.

Second sig: It's good. However, it's a bit bright, try to fix that and it'll be very good. :monster:

Keep it up Kyle. :gasp:
