Have any favorite love songs? It could be of any genra from any era.

It could be about past relationships and break ups too, but I'mma do a few that I really enjoy.

Led Zeppelin - Since I've Been Loving You
Such a beautiful song... I love how Plant is singing and the lyrics, I think everyone can relate to, if not some at least. It's one of those bittersweet love songs, I think. Plus, damn does Jimmie Page play the hell out of that guitar. I's like he's making love to you... AKA sex for the ears. :mokken:

Anymore you guys enjoy?

Eargasm. You know his own dad killed him? True.

Here's one I'm all too familiar with. It's actually quite incredible how MJ could inject such emotional weight at such a young age.

Obvious pick, Tom.

Here's another great love song;

Tangerine... is such a short and sweet song. The lyrics are beautiful and so meaningful. It's so soft and so gentle. It's a song about love and loss... what else could a person ask for in a love song? :ryan:

Meatloaf--"I'd Do Anything For Love"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GNhdQRbXhc

My youtube-embedding is full of fail lately so the link is all I have, sorry :sad3: But this song is and will always be epic :ryan: The video's pretty good too. I have some other ones but I'll post them later :hmmm:

hahahaha im a massssice meat loaf fan. ALmost all his songs are love songs. Though id say i prefer hot summer night and what about love as his more lovey dovey songs go :ryan:

james are fantastico.

kelly will agree with me since i see her lurking :ahmed:

ps: you took the words right out of my mouth *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*

That Meatloaf one reminded me of this gem:

Its a really long video mind xD

just cause clapton was a slut.:hmph:
Holy crap, go Jim. Pickin' a great song that I was just about to post. :hmph:

That is a bloody beautiful song. That version is especially beautiful. :ryan:

This is one of the most beautiful love songs I've ever heard... makes me cry.

The Smashing Pumpkins - Stand Inside Your Love

Seriously, I highly suggest listening to this song. It's so touching to listen to. It's one of the purest of love songs I've ever heard... so honest and bittersweet.

You and me
Meant to be
Immutable
Impossible
It's destiny
Pure lunacy
Incalculable
Insufferable
But for the last time

You're everything that I want and ask for
You're all that I'd dreamed
Who wouldn't be the one you love
Who wouldn't stand inside your love
Protected and the lover of
A pure soul and beautiful you

Don't understand
Don't feel me now
I will breathe For the both of us

Travel the world
Traverse the skies
Your home is here
Within my heart

And for the first time
I feel as though I am reborn
In my mind
Recast as child and mystic sage
Who wouldn't be the one you love
Who wouldn't stand inside your love
And for the first time
I'm telling you how much I need and bleed for
Your every move and waking sound

In my time
I'll wrap my wire around your heart and your mind
You're mine forever now
Who wouldn't be the one you love and live for
Who wouldn't stand inside your love and die for
Who wouldn't be the one you love

with or without you (calibabe) :sad3:
awww :{

I hate the term love songs... but i suppose il go with it... I just automatically think cheesy shite. Too me, it's songs that I think generally mean something to me, one way or other, rather than some generic I LOVE YOUUUUUU warbling, so some of these might seem out of place.. xD

Imnot sure if these links are gunna work.... so il do a Lew

Upside - James.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1SoriyqUcQ
no idea why its titled upside down, but its the right song

Senorita - James
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GIEdAUQjfc

U2 Unchained Melody
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1j_vyQrWO4

There's afew, but tbh, most are just that I like and have no real reason other than that, the generic, Always Bon Jovi, Roxette etc

edit* Fuck you tags. fuck you

AMG I WORKED IT OUT ALL ON MY OWN

theres a fantastic acoustic version that he does with some chaps from other 80s bands on youtube but im posting the original. very sexual, but it counts as a love song imo.:mokken:

I don't care what anyone says. Demi Lovato has a beautiful voice and she writes the most beautiful lyrics I've ever heard.

You must listen to the song to know it's beauty....

Demi Lovato - World of Chances

This song is... a song I really relate to. It's about her loving a guy that just keeps messing up, crushing her and the love she had for him. She was going to give him the world and he just crushed her. Eventually she leaves him and the guy realizes that she meant more to him than he thought but when he wants her back she's already gone and moved on... It really does make me cry.

You've got a face for a smile, you know
A shame you waste it
When you're breaking me slowly but I've

Got a world of chances, for you
I've got a world of chances, for you
I've got a world of chances
Chances that you're burning through.

I've got a paper and pen
I go to write a goodbye
And that's when I know I've

Got a world of chances, for you
I've got a world of chances, for you
I've got a world of chances
Chances that you're burning through

Ohhhhhh I'm going my own way
My faith has lost it's strength again
And Ohhhhhh It's been too hard to say
We're falling off the edge again

We're at the end
We're at the end

Maybe you'll call me someday
Hear the operator say the numbers no good
And that she had

A world of chances, for you
She had a world of chances, for you
She had a world of chances
Chances you were burning through
Chances you were burning through
Chances you were burning through Ohhh

You've got a face for a smile, you know

written aboot her ma, so a love song, just not the same kind of love the others have been about, though im sure it could be taken that way. chrissie hynde might be a rough...but i think she'd still get it just cause shes cool.
