No, it's just lust in my opinion.

You have to actually know something about the person to be able to fall for them truly.

I know that this is no debate, but I chose no. You really have to know the personallity of somebody. What if you THINK you love a girl at first sight, then she turns out to be a real handfull.(I substituted that for a worse word)

Hmm, perhaps you're all right. If the question was lighter, asking if you can feel something other than lust (don't elaborate on that please ), possibly some kind of caring emotion, like "She's the one for me!" and then hitting it off? That's far too long to put into the topic title, so I'll just leave it :P

Well yea, I believe in having feelings for somebody at first sight. But even that is not a good thing, because then you start to fall in love, and It makes you get all depressed. I usually just try to stay away from girls at best, and wait until they come up and talk to me.

I don't believe in true love anyway. What will make me believe in love with the first sight?

Same here man, I always wait for the girls to make the intiall move so to speak. Thing is because of this approch its made me depressed to an extent. Just can't win haha

I've had love at first sight once. I met a guy a few years ago and we just hit it off and were really good friends from the minute we met, till a few years later when he had to move. I never told him I loved him, but it'd be hard not to notice, 'cause every time he was around I'd laugh or trip. XD

I guess it is kinda hard believing in love if your in High Schoo, though. You can see so many little relationships and people saying, 'Oh, he/she is the one for me! I just know it!' and they end up breaking up a few days later. It's saddening, really. But I guess I'd have to keep hoping for some love.

And before I start talkin' deeper, I'll be headin' off. :P

Hmm, I don't really believe in love at first sight. Granted, you'll think that person's hot when you first lay your eyes on them, then you develop a crush/infatuation...but I'd hardly call it love.

Might be different with other people though, of course.

Love through PM's? Like, online relationships? Yeah, I know it happens with other people. I've known few people who were in love through text, exchanged pictures, etc. It was love for them.

But I honestly can't say I've fallen in love over the net, even when I saw cute guys' pictures. For me, personality is a big thing.

I do believe in love at first sight, but then again, I really don't even know what love is. So, until I figure it out for myself, I guess I just don't know.

I think the correct, yet underappreciated term is "Lust at first sight".
To love a person is to trust and understand them. You cannot know, trust, or love a person based on a glance.
