Does anyone else other than me listen to Lordi?
I first heard them on the eurovision song contest in 2006 with Hard Rock Halleujah. I also love the costumes they wear like Amen:

So basically does anyone else other than me listen to Lordi?:wacky:

They're just one hit wonders with Hard Rock Hallelujah. I know they've made it big in their own country, but they still aren't considered the best even over there. Good song though.

If you want costumes, take a ganders of GWAR :neomon:

HRH is an OK song but like said its a one hit wonder. Fair play on them for doing Eurovision, was about time a country actually used their heads and put some heavier bands into the fray. I noticed a Power Metal band on telly from this years which shows that others are beginning to take on the Eurovision. Now if only the UK did the same....:neomon:

if it's on their album then i probably have, i can't remember because it is on my laptop which i lent my uncle like last year, and i have only just got it bak

i Feel like listening to them now *grabs laptop and plugs in head fones* well i am going to listen to their album now, and after my refresher course i will be ready to talk about them

after listening to the album over again today i remembered just how much i love the song Who's your daddy, its so freaking awesum

Oh the irony in this thread.
Yeah, I like Lordi. Their Eurovision winner song is very beasty, and the devil is a loser one is pretty awesome too. There's also another song I've seen on YouTube, where they save this witch from being burnt.

I think I saw that one too isnt it called something like this is halloween
Nope that is Marilyn Manson song.

*kicks to the front*

Love the band. As noted quite a while back with the comments on them being one-hit wonders; I can see that. I also tend to think of them as an acquired taste type band. You either love them, don't care, or hate them (that accounting for the fact that you'd know who they even are).

In my case; I've got all of their studio albums plus The Monster Show, and my own burned CD of their bonus tracks.

Oh, and I've got their movie (Dark Floors) too. I ended up hearing about them for the first time on Countdown. Keith Olbermann had their Eurovision appearance on Oddball, and I just had to look the band up after that.

Best songs: Devil is a Loser, Beast Loose in Paradise, Chainsaw Buffet, Blood Red Sandman, and Monster Monster.

A friend of mine was a huge fan of theirs when we were 15-16 years old, so around that time we went and saw them live and they really were tremendous fun. I'd never buy an album of theirs. Musically I think it's a very shallow run of the mill hard rock and doesn't have a lot going for it, but seeing them live with all the costumes and shit really is an experience and a half!
