This may already be somewhere on the forums...but dont correct me please if it is.

I would like to give, and recieve opinions on different people least favorite sidequests from the final fantasys they have played in the seris...and please do tell why you like or dislike the quests.

Likes : I love the card game from number 8 and 9. they are both fun and I really enjoy getting into it too the point where I just have to collect them all lol. In number 10 I Love the battle arena and being able to unlock all of those extra bosses....Having extra bosses is a great way to reward long time spent for sidequesting. And The optional bosses are always a must for me. As well as the hunting from number 12.

Dislikes: In number 10 I absolutely hated lightning dodging and butterfly catching. As well as I disliked blitzball. I just couldnt get into it. In number 9 I really disliked the chocobo Digging. I look back and think I wasted so much time with that sidequest. And Even though the rewards were fantastic...I disliked chocobo training/breeding from number 7.

I don't really do sidequests but...FFVI was the exception when I collected all the characters in the World of Ruin. It's one of the few times I actually deviated from the course and spent some extra time on the game (I've done it in a few other games like Fallout 3 but not normally for FF games). Usually I hate FF sidequests since they don't really enhance the storyline much and I'm not really into maxing out my characters, but I had to get Mog, Gogo, Umaro, and all your old buddies from the World of Balance.

Hmm in 7 and 8, doing the chocobo sidequests. they were alot of fun, ecpecially in 7 where you can race them and earn prizes!

the card game Triple Triad in 8 was also alot of fun, i got addicted to that game so quickly!

My favourite sidequests would be beating the 8 dragons and the coliseum in FFVI. Triple triad in FFVIII was also fun, but I used a guide to obtain rare cards. Digging up chocographs in FFIX was also a nice mini-game/sidequest but I never finished it...

My least favorite sidequest is by far Blitzball. I hate that game so much i could throw my controller at the screen when the other team beats me 4-0. I always wanted to get all the celestrial weapons in FFX but I can't stand blitzball, chocobo racing and lightning bolts dodging.

The chocobo sidequest in IX is the shit, and so is the blitzball game in X which I played wayyy too much (it's just sad that it gets too easy too quickly).

Love Triple Triad & Chocobo Hot and cold. I can't just play one game of cards or dig up just one chocograpgh.. I end up getting sucked in for houuuurs. I liked collecting the Stellazio coins as well.

Hate Blitzball. With a passion.

Same. LOVE those two minigames.

When it comes to finding things with the chocobo. Once I find a chocograph I HAVE to find more. I just have too.

I did play blitball... and partially enjoyed it. But that doesn't mean I didn't hate it.

dude, blitzball rocked. Although, I wasn't forced to play as much as most people because I got wakka's thingy real quick luckily, and I recruited some of the best players in the game by random chance very early on in the game. Still though, it was a considerable amount of fun.

Also Triple Triad was awesome.

The dueling room in FFVII.

Chocobo diggin in FFIX.

Aaaaaaannnnnddd, I really liked the marks in FFXII.

I actually rather enjoy sidequests. They're a nice break from grinding every now and then.

In VII, I loved the Chocobo racing and raising them. I spent many many hours betting on chocobo races and breeding/racing them myself.

Chocobo hot and cold is one of my all time favorites. I get sucked into that one so easily. The music is awesome and digging becomes addictive, especially when you almost have a chocograph and just miss it. I start raging and digging more. :lew:

Triple Triad and Tetra Master were good too. I didn't spend as much time on Tetra Master as Triple Triad since IX also had Chocobo Hot and Cold. I collected all of the cards for Triple Triad though and I enjoyed running around trying to find the high level cards. The card queen can get bent though. :hmph:

In XII, I spent more time hunting marks than I did on the storyline. The marks provided a challenge where the actual storyline bosses didn't, imo. Collecting Espers was a lot of fun as well.

I absolutely love blitzball :) but that gets broing when I can play fifa :L and I also love the arena in 7 and 10. I like card game in IX but hated 8 it made me very angry >:( I also hate hot + cold it got so boring for me real quick.

Hmm, what I liked

FFVIII: Triple triad. Gosh I always think, this is the last game, and then I end up playing it 20 more times.
FFX-2 - gunners gauntlet, especially teh hardest mode =D
FFXII - marks, I do that rather than followingthe story

What I hated
FFVIII- getting mega tonberry
FFX- chocobo race, butterfly catching and lightning dodging, looking for cactuars and blitzball (after playing it too much then). I believe my controller ended up many times on the floor while doing these.
FFX-2 blitzball, that was crap, bevelle underground took way too long and was boring too. pff there's probably more.
