Last/Lost Elixer?

when going down the crater to fight the final battle against Sephiroth, I came across an item. It was called a Last Elixer, or Lost Elixer, I dont remeber which. i tried to find it in the inventory but i could not find it. i even looked in the key items section I dont remember seeing it. was I alone on this?
 
Its no different from a normal elixer, Im pretty sure you will have one extra elixer in your inventory :monster:

I do remember thnking wtf it was going on bout, yeah maybe it might actually be the last elixer you pick up but theres no need to tell us that :wacky:
 
i thought it was its own item, not the final elixer you find in the game.
 
Oh, I remember that happening to me too. It was included in your Elixir count, they just decided to be witty and give it its own unique name.
 
If I recall, it's actually not the last Elixer you can find. Which renders the entire concept of naming it as such to be quite... fruitless.
 
The Last Elixir is really a Megaelixir, by the way. But, yeah, the translation in VII was awful. It really does kill the drama in a few scenes. And, of course, there are a few other weird translations of items that really confused me. I can't think of any off the top of my head, unfortunately...
 
The 'Last Elixir' is actually a Megalixir. However it was originally supposed to be a different item but was changed to a Megalixir later in the game development as the said item was withdrawn from the game completely. It is also a translation error anyways.
 
xDD I thought about that damn item for so long, I even looked around the net and asked some friends about it but they could never give me a straight answer. I always thought it was something that put there just to piss you off lol, ya know like they always do?
I do agree that the translation for this game was pretty bad, I mean what do they pay these people for? ._.;; They got lazy with this, sometimes I wonder what the scenes would be like if they had the original dialog instead of the translated one, I mean what would it say aside from a whole bunch of kanji >.>;; lol
 
yeah, they specialize in pissing me off with the translations >_> perhaps the translators need to be threatened a little. maybe they'll do a better job.
 
i saw that when i was playing as well. i was thinking,"WTF?" so i saved, restarted my PS1, and yet agian i saw it. so im like"WTF?!?!?" so i look and i see 1 megalixer and im like,"YAY!!!!"

Yes, when I first saw this 'Last Elixer' I was confused as well. My thoughts were something along the line of "What is the meaning of this heinous lie."

They just put it in there because they got bored and are jackasses. IMO.
 
Yeah, I just thought it was the last Elixir you can pick up in the game, because you're nearing the Northern Crater at the time.

But then it wasn't the last one...

And then it wasn't an Elixir, either.
 
I never paid attention to it i just kept on going through the game. Its nothing to look to hard at.
 
Well, If you say so, XD I didn't really pay attention to it, not to mention that my game is in Spanish, O_O Yeah, I couldn't get one in English.
