Haha, well you certainly started out better than I did. xD It's pretty decent for a beginner, but okay some suggestions...try to make the BG match the renders in any way you can as far as color scheme goes. Also, it's really best to work with just one focal point, especially if you're just starting out. I actually used two-three focal points when I first started, but other artists told me to work with just one first and I took their advice. It's really much easier that way. =]

Also, try to use brushes in your signatures. They work wonders. xD C4Ds as well, mainly for lighting and light subtle effects in the background, but it's not required in order to make an awesome signature. I guess for now just focus on your BGs and blending.

lol thankies. that was one of the few brushes i started with that i liked so i used it with multiple colors lol

okay so i made a second one and its more simple but i REALLY like it.

That's nice and simple, you're much better than I was when I first started out!

I have a piece of advice though, try to make your sigs smaller, it may seem nice to have a larger canvas to work with, but you have more to fill.

this one is a lot like the other, i was just bored lol.... this is addicting

Well you're progressing very well it seems. :monster:

The last is pretty good. I liked the way you used the leaf brush to go with the render and switched the colours often. You seem like a very artistic sig maker and yes, it's very addicting when you first start. xD

Keep it up, I expect good things from you.

Hee hee, I remember when I first started. I was addicted as well... In fact, it was right around this time of year last year when I started.

Anyway, try using the eyedrop tool to pick colors from the stock that you can use in your background. From there, you can make gradients out of the colors. Make sure the light part of the tag is prominent in the middle and then fades out gradually. You seem to be using flat colors with erratically placed brushes as your backgrounds.

Your canvases are also too big.

Thanks C l a y m o r e and Casanova! ^_^

yeah... another one!!!!

Nothing much goes in the BG but I think you started better than I did :/ and your tags size (width and height) are big :gasp: try to make around 350x130 something like that unless your prefer big sized tags like Fusionist. xD
Anyway keep it up.

I made this one this morning cause i was bored

The colours work well with the latest one but the size is a little on the large side. Try working with smaller canvases now and adding borders.

You're getting good, keep it up. :monster:

and another random one

You're really good for a beginner. At the latest tag you should blend the left girl so she can match the background because the colors she has are opposite of the backroung and she attracts the most attention.
Sorry if what I'm writing is hard to understand.

Another new one!!!

I like the Penelo one.I don't think adding so many times the same brush(behind Penelo) was necessary.

This one is good in my eyes, so are the others but this one stands out to me because of the matching coulours etc. All in all it an excellent attempt for a begginer

I just made these:

me and my boyfriend... He wanted me to make one of us. It was a PAIN to render
