Since 66 SC (Strangereal Century) the Suleyminianic Delaran Empire, the successors to the Saladinian Delaran Empire of the Usean Crusades Era has been in conflict with the Christian Osean Kingdoms across the Spring Sea. The Delarans wanted revenge on these Kingdoms for the death of their last dynasty's emperor, Osman.

The Suleyminianic Emperor, Murat, was a corrupt Emperor who wanted to rule the known world under his banner. He built up his military order to great heights and spread his emperor as far as he could.

Murat's campaigns took him to distant lands. His successors took the empire to distant lands all over the world, conquering as much as they could.

Hundreds of years later, The Suleyminianic Emperor and Murat's grandson Heyreddin, has successfully conquered the Dual Kingdom of Nordland-Wielvakia and has now entered the Halberg Kingdom of Recta. The Halberg Dynastic rulers of Recta, Sapin and Gebet, shocked at the developments, began to fight a conflict with the Delaran Empire...that was 13 years prior.

The year is now 243 SC. Fighting between the Halberg and the Delarans has left the Rectan landscape scarred and destitute. The Halberg are now weary of fighting and the Delarans have taken control over most of Recta and Gebet, threatening the heart of the Halberg Empire, the Gebetan capital of Mons.

The brave knights of the Halberg must rise to protect the city from the Delaran horde. But they cannot do it alone. The Halberg, seeing the desperate situation at hand, hires mercenaries from all across the world to assist in their hour of need.

It appears to be taken off a game, but obviously, I have no clue about it at all. Nevertheless, I must ask.

What is the level of technology in the world this role play is set in?
What sort of vehicles are available?
How developed are some of the various cities?
Is magic a possible skill in this role play?

I'm rather interested as well, but looking at how complicated this may be, especially with 13 different nations.. I have to comment that it might be going to be difficult for you to coordinate.

Nevertheless, I'll think over joining this when I get the response to the above questions.
 
I agree with Valk. I'll join depending ont he answers. 13 nations does sound like it'll be hard to control.
 
Well to tell you the truth. 13 nations are listed, though some of them are only there in name alone and have no revelance to the plot.

So far the only ones that do are Sapin, Gebet, Delarus and Recta. (Libra will get a minor role since it is Halberg territory, while Erusea and Nordland-Wielvakia will come up later on in the story since they are occupied or are allies with the enemy, Delarus.) That pretty much reduces the nation count to just about 7, coupled with the fact that 3 of them are pretty much ruled by the same family, you could say that rules down to 4. (Halbergs & Recta vs. Delarus & Erusea)

Other than that, here are some other info:

-The role play is set 243 SC. 0 SC is 1300 AD, which puts this RP just in the mid 16th century, just outside of the Middle Ages (which ended in 192 SC or 1492 AD.)

-The only Vehicles acessible are pretty much horses and wagons, and maybe carriages, though I doubt carriages were in existence at this time period.

-This is a period where the Renaissance took place. Like the RL Renaissance, the Independent Ratian City-States, including Libra, St. Michel and the Papal States were in the forefront of art and culture. Though just about everywhere experienced its own Renaissance, including Sapin and Erusea.

-Yes, Magic is a skill in roleplay, as stated before, we've only just came out of the Middle Ages....( meaning limited guns, it's mainly gonna be blunt objects or a bow/crossbow.)
