Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War

OOC: Um... we should just get going. I did say just toss Chao into the ship and by the time we get there, she should be up. Plus, we have to get onto the second arc. the other guy is waiting.
 
OOC: Yeah, I think we should hurry up and finish this.

IC: Raven entered the training room. He was still disappointed, but if he was to win against Scinfaxi, he would have to use his rage as a weapon in battle.

Raven closed his eyes, "Hal, I'm ready. Throw whatever it is you're got coming at me."

Luna started carrying the now unconscious Chao on her back to the Pelican. While there were a few eyes looking at her, and a few doctors asking to bring her back to the infirmary, Luna said to them, "I'm doing a favor for a friend, I would suggest you stay out of my way."

After 15 minutes of carrying Chao around to get to the hanger, she strapped the Princess of Eastern Cloud to one of the seats.

"Knowing Chao, she'd be real disappointed if there weren't a fight somewhere. Then again, if there was anyone I would want on my side, it'd be her."
 
Hal picked up his swords and removed them from his scabbards..

"Then come"

He hit a button on the computer and the window opened allowing him entry to the training room. Jumping down into the Pit he landed with his arms outstretched..

"Raven just put your normal strength into the battle"

Hal sliced his sword towards Raven.

"Put your full force behind your weapon... Your weapon is an extended part of your arm.. A part of your body"
 
"Then come"

Raven saw Hal fell from the computer room to his location. His arms were outstretched, swords already drawn.

Raven brought out both his Keyblades, Four Wings, and Fenrir. While he was trained to use dual wielding by his father, it was not really his strong suit, especially compared to his usual stance or his reverse grip.

"Raven just put your normal strength into the battle" As Hal said this, he swung at Raven with his swords, which Raven countered with Four Wings. Raven was annoyed that Hal is saying something about the basics.

"Put your full force behind your weapon... Your weapon is an extended part of your arm.. A part of your body"

Raven answered as a rebuttal, "Hal, why are you telling me stuff that I already know? This is the basic stuff my dad taught me when I was 5 years old." Raven countered with a swing from the Fenrir to Hal's leg.
 
Hal seeminlsy moved out of the way of the blade going for his knees

"You are like I was... full of rage.... You need to let go"

Hal placed his swords on the floor...
"Slowly the rage inside you starts to build up and you go blood crazy for retribution.. One day you might even find yourself hating the very person who you cared about so much" That is your power Raven not in your arms.. but in your heart...

Hal picked a close wooden pole..

"close your eyes... Don't open them.. Just feel where I am and move from the pole."

Hal swung for Raven

Raven began thinking about what Hal said about rage, perhaps that's what has been driving Hal since his mother was taken away.


"Close your eyes... Don't open them.. Just feel where I am and move from the pole."

Raven closed his eyes as told, and when Hal swung at Raven, Raven wound up taking a hit to the chest, knocking him out of breath.

"Dammit Hal, how the hell am I supposed to feel anything if I can't see it?"

Hal stopped swinging

Hal picked Raven up off the floor and then stepped back to swing again..

Hal picked Raven up, with Raven closing his eyes once more. Listening to Hal, he had to shut out all his emotions, his Fear, Anger, Sadness, all of it, to focus solely on this moment. When Hal swung at him with the wooden pole, Raven ducked, then sidestepped, he felt his presence and when he was going to swing, and reacted accordingly, to the point where Raven actually counterattacked with a sweeping kick.

"Looks like I got lucky." Raven said.
 
"Good"

Hal dropped the wooden pole..

"Now.. take your keyblades"

Hal picked up his swords

"Raven I want you to close your eyes and focus.. This time'll hurt if you go wrong...."

Hal swung for Raven once more...

"Raven........ Your Father's Death was not your fault... nor was it Scifanxi's.... It was his Own"
Hal followed through with his sword to slice Raven...
 
Raven summoned back the Four Wings and Fenrir Keyblades and closed his eyes again, focusing on the moment as he did with the dodging. Only this time it will be an actual fight. Hal swung at Raven hard which Raven countered.

"Raven........ Your Father's Death was not your fault... nor was it Scifanxi's.... It was your fathers."

"That's not true." Raven snapped back, starting to lose focus as he swung at Hal, one at his legs, the other at his torso with both his Keyblades. "How could he be responsible for his own death?"
 
Hal immediatly swung one sword down to his leg and the other to block ravens torso...

"Raven... accept it - fighting is a skill but not a dance"

Hal kicked raven backwards to the floor

"You must control your rage... only then you will be able to strike me.."

Hal stepped back and stood into a battle pose

Raven felt a kick that knocked him backwards. However, Raven already enraged at what Hal said, started swinging harder and faster, hoping to land a hit. In addition to the usual sword swings, Raven tossed in a swinging roundhouse kick in the direction of Hal's face in an attempt to knock him down. "COME ON!!!" Raven screamed at him.
 
Hal countered Raven's Keyblades and then threw his swords aside and grabed Raven's Foot and threw him down onto the floor and put his arm over the top of his neck.

"Raven - Lessons Over.... You know why I done this.... Scifanxi will use this against you... You cannot let him overrun your rage... It'lll cause you to cause yourself damange........"

Hal stood up and picked up his swords...

"Battle will start soon.... We best get moving..."

Hal turned around and picked up his Lab Coat

"Chao must be ready before we can land.. we'll need us all"

As Hal left the room.. he looked back..

"Raven... you do your father proud.... He taught me this lesson the hard way... many cuts and bruises.."

The door shut the door and walked to the Lab.

Raven picked himself up and dusted himself off.

"Battle will start soon.... We best get moving..."

"Yeah, I suppose we should."

Raven showed a slight smile before he decided to head back to his room to think about what Hal said as well as to pick up his guns.

On the way to his room, he saw Luna heading in the opposite direction. Luna said, "Raven...."

"Yes, Luna...."

"Oh...it's nothing."

"You sure?"

"Just focus on the mission, alright." Luna finally said before heading back to the hangar.

Raven wondered what Luna was trying to say, but he decided to drop it and move on.

Back in his room, Raven saw a single stainless steel-plated .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 19 lying on his bed with a note. Taking the note he read it saying,

"Good luck in the battle for your home, I hope that you will finally turn the tide of this war. To your friend and ally, Colonel Curtiss."

Taking the Model 19, Raven looked at it before putting on his holster to rest the gun in.

The Colonel said over the intercom, "To all soldiers on board, prepare for immediate landing at Unity Island, the attack has begun, I repeat, to all soldiers on board prepare for immediate landing."

"It's begun." Raven said before rushing out of the room to the hanger.
 
Hal left his cabin in a different long black lab coat made of leather..

Looking at Raven he said..

"Carn't be going in white.. .going to get mucky :P"
Hal started to walk down the hall readjusting his sword belt with his swords attached to his belt... Walking towards the hanger he opened his locker and removed a black hat...

"Need some stealth" Hal thought to himself..

Looking back up the corrdior Hal walked back up to Raven's Quarters

"Raven its going to be safer if we travelled seperate.. Scifanxi is targetting us both... So i'll meet you when down there I'll go and command the 1st wave of fighters....
My Honor Raven... I shall see you on the battlefield... Pass my regards to the others.. Best of Luck Kid,"

Hal turned around and walked to the ship to take off...

"Look Sharp Boys! Dr in the building"

Hal started walking up and down the middle of the craft giving a briefing to the small 1st wave team..

"Keep your eyes open and your weapons tight... For this! Is the day we win"

"I won't lie to you men... General Scifanxi will be down there... Leave him to me.... Go and find the other keyblade masters and protect them till Captain Raven and the rest land... Then fight till the signal of victory comes"


Hal grabbed onto the edge of the hanger as they started the descend into madness...

OOC: Hal's going to get going straight away after Scifanxi so I hope you lot can hurry up and track him down. i'll give a flare off to where I am

"Don't get your ass kicked out there too, Otacon."

Raven entered the Pelican, finding an unconscious Chao and a few paratroopers armed with spears and sawed-off Shotguns. Luna followed in shortly after, asking Raven, "Are you ready for this?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." He said, looking at his chain. This was going to be the final fight, do or die.

The Pelican back doors closed, readied to be opened once they get over the largest of the 3 Islands, Cape Island, where the base was said to be.

Ace Combat 5 OST: Front Line

After a few moments, the Pelican dropped from the Arkbird. Raven looked up and saw the Arkbird immediately fire it's Tactical Laser Cannon at a Heartless Frigate. Usually, Heartless Capital Ships are impenetrable with their shields up, however, the Tactical Laser burned a hole through their shields and armor, splitting the ship in two. Several Heartless Fighters were trying to gun down some of the Pelicans as well, but they did nothing once the Transport's reached the surface.

The door's opened while in flight and the troopers were ready to hit the ground and start fighting the Heartless below.

Luna said to Raven so that he could hear, "TAKE THE PARATROOPERS, I WANT YOU TO CLEAR AN LZ SO ME AND CHAO CAN LAND SAFELY!!"

Raven smiled and put his thumbs up. However this was only a ruse, as he was still a bit worried over what would happen to his world.

Not taking any chances Raven and the paratroopers jumped out of the Pelican and started riding on his Keyblade towards the ground, using it to gradually descend.

Scinfaxi looked up after brutally impaling a civilian (more so retired combatants) and saw reinforcements coming down. With one of them heading in his general area. He said to his men, "Go to the beach and kill any survivors, I'm going to set up a trap for our guest."

Scinfaxi got on to his transport, a Rapid Attack Vehicle, and waited for his opponent to land.

Hal jumped out of the plane and landed hard on the floor

"COME ON Guys! x Go help Raven and Luna"

Hal turned his head slowly as he pulled out his sword and sliced down a few heartless

"I'll be fine get moving. Find the others"

Hal slowly turned and started to walk up the beach slicing down heartless as he walked.. Looking up as he ducked under a heartless blade he saw the general in the background pointing and shouting at his troops to flood the area... with that he ran up off a track..

"Damn Otacon come on!"

Hal started to run forwards and all of a sudden a flurry of bullets came from behind him taking out some of the heartless in front of him.

Quickly spinning around he put his thumbs up and kept running

Getting to the side gap he saw A FAV Scifanxi got into one and then hit the ATV next to it damanging its brakes..

"DAMN! but I carn't let him get away"

Hal put away his swords and jumped on the ATV's and chased after him
 
Raven landed into a nest of Red Nocturnes and Crimson Jazzes, Fire type Heartless. The landing blow knocked them all away, unfortunately, it brought up a Windstorm Heartless, a type not often seen, as well as several Gun Soldiers. Raven brought out both Four Wings and Fenrir and began deflecting the Heartless's ranged attacks. He threw Fenrir at the Heartless's wing, bringing it down on the masses below. Raven then stabbed it in the head with the Keyblade to destroy it before it got off the ground again.

"Come on, the LZ is this way." The Paratroopers followed.

Scinfaxi headed up the long winding pathway, knowing that Hal is on tow. He wanted to get back at the human who gave him the injury on the neck some time ago.

"Come human, come to await your doom." He yelled and laughed at the man chasing him, goading him to come after him with such fury.
 
Hal jumped on the back of the ATV and started to chase Scifanxi up the long winding path, becauase of the brake damange the ATV was getting thrown all over the place but it was the only way to keep up with him

"Scifanxi! just you wait!"

Hal paid attention to the road but as a log came down infront of him he was thrown off the top of the ATV into an clearning.. The ATV henceforth set on fire and blocked the path... He was on his own..

Hal stood up and brushed himself off and drew his swords... He knew that Scifanxi was around.

"Come out!"
 
Raven saw the LZ in the clearing, several Defender Heartless guarding an Anti-Air Battery. The paratroopers came in first and tried to gun them down with their shotguns, serve as a distraction. The defenders knocked some of them back and injured a few in the process.

Raven however came charging in and came in from the back, using the Fenrir to stab and destroy the power generator in the back, and destroying the Battery. Meanwhile the Paratroopers caught the Defenders off guard with the destruction of the Battery and most were gunned down by the soldiers on the field.

Luna's Pelican saw the hole in their AA Defenses, and saw a good LZ to defend. The Pelican flew to the location where Raven and the Para's took down the hastily set up AA Defenses. As the Transport landed, Luna climbed out, saying, "Thanks for clearing the AA for us."

"Is Chao coming to?"

"Not yet, but she'll be up and swinging as soon as she gets up. Where's Hal?"

Raven thought for a second then said, "I saw him land in the center of the island."

Luna started to have a worried look on her face, which caused Raven to respond, "Is something wrong?"

"Raven, he's going after him....the Arbiter...we've confirmed that he is in that area."

As soon as Luna uttered those words, Raven also got worried. "That idiot, I told him to not get himself killed."

A Second Pelican came down with 2 ATV's. Getting onto one, Raven said, "There is a cliff side on the center that leads to a clearing on the other side of the beach, as soon as Chao get's up. You head to the beach, I have an idea on how to take that monster down."

Raven left the position in the ATV, heading to where he believed that Hal would have landed, and coming in at high speed.

"Come out!"

"Hmph, As you wish."

With that Scinfaxi appeared behind Hal and proceeded to try and grab him in the neck. This would be followed by a crushing blow to the chest.

"I should have realized who you are earlier. How ironic, to meet the son of the woman I've taken away." Scinfaxi laughed after saying his monolague.
