Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War

A Pelican was spotted headed toward the heavy frigate, fortunately, it was adressed as a friendly. It said over the radio:

"Any nearby gummi ships I request immidate assistance : There is just me aboard Pilot Hal Otacon, and I am bleeding from battle wounds. I require a transport party.. Hal Otacon Over and Out"

The Excective Officer, Lieutenant Natalia Salem, told Hal, "Dr. Otacon, you're cleared to land at the Side Hanger Bay. Just fly to the left side under the Arkbird, we'll use our tractor beam to guide you in."

The Arkbird's hanger crew began activating the tractor beam to get the Pelican inside the Arkbird and bring the Doctor to the Emergency Room.

Meanwhile, on board the Heartless Stealth Assault Cruiser "Dark Heart"

Dagr Scinfaxi was not in a pleasent mood. Though he managed to succeed in his objective, but he was humiliated by a puny human (he was 8 feet tall), he needed to meet with the Supreme Commander of the Heartless.

Entering his Quarters he sat on a futuristic styled chair and opened a channel to the S.C. On screen was Dilan, wearing a purplish-black armor and a billowing dark blue cape.

Dagr Scinfaxi opened up, by saying, "Scupreme Commander, another world has fallen to darkness."

Dilan responded, "Excellent, now move on to the next world."

The Arbiter remained silent.

"Arbiter, you seem quiet, what troubles you?"

"A human, sire, he has said that I've met him before, but I don't know him before."

"Ah, a Human who has come across a former Arbiter. Well, no matter, deal with him as quickly as possible."

"It will be done, sire." The screen turned off and Scinfaxi was left to ponder about what his master said.
 
Hal turned auto pilot off and flew the ship into the dock and turned everything off.

Opening the door he pulled himself out of the hatch and started to struggle to walk up the gangway to the waiting party.

He fell to his knees and rolled over onto his side.. slowly blood was rolling out of his abdomen

Hal closed his eyes and just waited trying to hold his emotions in
 
Stretchers were carried in to help up Dr. Otacon, and take him to the Emergency Room. Once there healers were using Cure spells to help stabilize his condition while others tried to stich the wound back together. The process was long and hard but it was made worthwhile. In the end, Otacon was now recovering.

Raven was in the other room with Chao and Luna, looking at the doctors as they operated on Hal. Raven said, "We've lost Twilight Town." Luna responded, "Yeah, I know."

"You know, ever since I became Captain, I've been through one defeat after another. First I was tasked with the protection of the Kestrel and the Third Fleet, and what happened? Scinfaxi came and destroyed the Third Fleet."

"But you managed to stop a plot to steal important battle plans on the Kestrel. As well as prevented the destruction of the Kestrel."

Raven then said, "Still, even so, he also attacked and took over the Destiny Islands, maybe killing everyone there, Pops, Sora, Riku....and I wasn't there to stop it!!"

Chao said, "But even if you weren't there you would not have changed a thing, maybe you would have died. Still, you gained an ally in your quest to win the war."

Luna added, "Raven, it's not your fault. You did everything you could to help them."

Raven got up saying, "No, but it is my responsibility, and my leadership, my life, everything about me would only come into question until I beat Scinfaxi. Just make sure Otacon is alright."

"Raven!!!"

Chao stopped her, "Leave him alone Luna. He needs to sort this out for himself."

Raven then left the medical wing of the Arkbird and headed straight for the training room, he needed to be ready for when he fought Scinfaxi again. He believed that only he would be the one to stop these losses.

Hal laid on the bed and was stone cold unconcious whilst they were working on him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 hours later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hal slowly opened his eyes in the recovery room. He moved his hand slowly down to his abdomon to feel what happened.. he felt the stiches and said..
"Damn it.. going to have to be careful for a while"
 
Raven headed up on his way to the training room. Along the way he came across Hayner, who managed to escape Twilight Town with the rest of the survivors. "Hey Raven!" Hayner said, "Thanks, I probably should've listened to you earlier."

Raven responded, "If I only I were here sooner, maybe we could've saved your world Hayner."

"I know you'll get it back, don't worry Raven." Hayner then pulled out a knife and it's holster from his pocket. "Here." He hands the knife to Raven.

"You're given this to me?"

"If you plan on getting revenge on that Scinfaxi guy, you probably gonna need it."

"Thanks Hayner, you're the best." Raven said before heading up to the training room. Though he still felt sad, he felt a little better.
 
Hal had a bandage around his abdoman and he stood up.. he had been asleep for hours..

He started to walk slowly towards the door picking up his new cane to make sure he had the strength to walk up

* spoiler * Hal now walks with a cane *spoiler*

Hal pressed a button on the door and walked towards the window...

"Wherever he is... I will find him and win..."

Hal closed his eyes whilst looking at the grand expanse of what was left of the galaxy...

The day was dark and there was already fires from the battle spreading through the village..

"HAL!"

The screech came from downstairs..

a much younger Hal ran down the stairs to find his mother being attacked by Heartless..

"Scifanxi, No!"

Hal's father ran to save his mother but Scifanxi just threw him across the room into the fires and turned on his mother.... yet he spared her from the fires..

"Please... don't hurt him"

All of a sudden Scifanxi picked Hal's mother up and left the room..

Hal picked up his fathers sword and ran towards Scifanxi...

"Leave my mother alone!"

"Hal just run! Run!"

Hal's eyes opened.. a little tear came down from his eyes..

"Mother...."
 
Chao and Luna were at the hanger talking about the events and any future plans. Chao was about to head back to Eastern Cloud to help mobilize the forces. So Luna walked her to the hanger for one last conversation.

"So with the situation being desperate, we are now mobilizing our forces and preparing for war, chances are we may wind up having to enter the conflict."

"I only wish it hadn't come to this."

"Well, it couldn't be helped. Take care Luna, and we will meet again."

"Yeah, you too."

Raven finally entered the training simulation room. One of the soldiers operating the machine said, "Welcome to the training simulator. Who do you want to fight?"

Raven said, "Just pick someone, I don't care." Which made the soldier think "Hmm, let's see if this one would work."

After pressing a few buttons on the Keyboard, a stream of data came pouring down into the room, transforming it into Olympus Coliseium. Another stream of data formed to create a digital version of Roxas, weilding both Oblivion and Oathkeeper.

"I need to get stronger, and he is the one who is in my way." Raven thought before charging towards the once powerful nobody.
 
Hal walked into the hanger and saw Luna say goodbye to Chao..

"Chao.. Take care of yourself. We will help all we can"

Hal looked at Luna...

"Luna... Scifanxi.. my mother.. she still may be out there..."
 
Luna turned to find Hal and said, "Hal, what do you mean your mother is still out there? What's wrong?" Luna was serious in her tone. She knew the ramifications in case a person was captured by the Heartless.

Raven swung his keyblade at Roxas's Data Silhouette. But the once powerful nobody of Organization XIII blocked it with Oathkeeper and swung at Raven with Oblivion., which Raven took a great deal in dodging.

Both Raven and Roxas fought in an agressive style of combat, using their speed and strength in an attempt to overpower and overwhelm the other. Although the only differences where Roxas using light-based magic while Raven was being more physical, using not only his Keyblade, but also using his fist and feet to try and keep the so-called "Key of Destiny" off balance.
 
Hal clutched his stomach..

"Scifanxi... he....he... toke her from me... one night... killed my father.. I knew I recognised him.."

Hal looked up at the hanger opening..

"I must go after him Luna.. She still might be alive..."

Hal's eyes filled with tears and he instantly turned around and took off his glasses to wipe his eyes
 
OOC: Minor grammar error, that's "her" Otacon....

Luna put her hand on Hal's shoulder. She have never seen a person older than her break down like that, and it was probably because of that, that she didn't know what to say. After a few moments, she finally said, "You'll see your mother again, Hal. Raven and I will be there to help you on your search." She didn't want to smile, as she couldn't bring herself to do it. Especially since Raven is feeling in a similar mood as Hal was.

Raven was panting heavily. The fight was evenly matched, as neither him, nor the Roxas Copy would quit. Both of them showed visible damage on their clothes. But Raven was determined to defeat the copy and move on. Raven and Roxas charged at each other again. Roxas delivered 2 swings using both Keyblades, Raven blocked both swings using his Keyblade, Roxas continued swinging at Raven, hoping to overpower him. Roxas succeeded, knocking his Keyblade away. Had it been Sora, he would have been defeated, but for Raven, after having his Keyblade knocked away, he tackled at the Roxas Copy, and delivered several fearsome punches to the face, knocking the copy out.

Getting up, Raven saw the copy being digitized once more and the simulation room return to normal.
 
Hal turned around...

"You really think so Luna? Its been over 30 years... what I hear... there isn't much time once a heartless victim becomes human to when they die"

Hal looked luna dead in the eye

"We need to find Scifanxi.. This Time I'll be ready"
 
OOC: No, I mean what you just.....oh never mind.... -__-

IC: Luna said, "That hasen't stopped us before. Don't worry, you'll see your mother again....I promise...." With that, Luna left the hanger and headed for her quarters. Tomorrow, the Arkbird would make a stop at Nomanisan Island to pick up the human's secret weapon.

Raven came out of the simulation room. He was battered and bruised again. But he rather be prepared for anything than just sit around full of regret. The Captain of the Arkbird provided individual rooms for Raven, Luna and Hal, and he decided he may as well go ahead and rest.
 
Hal looked up to the open skies for the window of his room..

"Somewhere you are out there mother.."

Hal placed his walking cane next to his bed and sat down in the chair at the side.. He had much thinking to do.
 
Raven woke up the next morning. Getting off the bed, he walked out to the window and saw the world below him, a tropical island with what appears to be a semi-active volcano. The world had weird railways for transport, and it was a lot of them so Raven could tell there were a lot of people on the island.

Raven looked down on his chest and saw the scar Scinfaxi gave him back at Twilight town. He sighed, then went on to put on his clothes and leave his room.

As Raven left his room, he saw Luna waiting by the door. Luna said, "Rough night?"

"Yeah....Hey Luna, where are we?"

Luna then explained, "This is Nomanisan Island, the homeworld for The Incredibles."

"The Incredibles?"

"It's a superhero family. You'll meet them at the island launch facility shortly."

Nomanisan Island was once used by Snydrome to build the perfect anti-hero weapon, the Omnidroid, but since it's destruction at the hands of Mr. Incredible and Sora, the base was used by the ruler of the world, and when war broke out, the warriors of light.

Both Raven and Luna headed to the bridge, where they waited for Hal to come.
