(OOC: This first post may sound like something from a short fanfic, but it helps to set the tone for the start of the story)

15 years ago, there was a war that engulfed the worlds....
{Transcript begins}
(Several warriors, armed with swords and shields, are in a battle line formation in a mountainious area, one of the men shown is Raven's father, Epieste, wearing silver armor and weilding the recolored Sleeping Lion keyblade. Ready to fight against the enemy. The enemy, in the form of Heartless Invisibles, ready their swords and charge. The Warriors of Light held their ground while their Archers fired at the Invisibles.)
(Once the heartless reached their enemies, the Warriors began to hack at them with their swords. Erieste then yelled "PUSH THEM BACK!!!" As he cut down two of the heartless.)
(Casualties mounted on both sides after 2 minutes of fighting, but the Invisibles were being forced back. Erieste dueled three of the Invisibles, he sliced one, and picked up its sword, which he used to block his opponents attack while he cast a Fire Spell to destroy the other.)
(Meanwhile, another keyblade knight, led a calvary charge using chocobos. His force lunged at several heartless, destroying them with his keyblade.)
(However, as the battle continued, a large explosion rocked the ground, and the heartless dissapeared. As Erieste looked on, he saw a large, purple mushroom cloud loom over the distance, as if someone dropped a nulcear bomb in the mountains nearby. The resulting soot and dust began to cover the field as many of Erieste's men choked in the resulting sandstorm. It would soon envelop the Keyblade Master himself.)

The last event managed to wake Raven up from his dream. He got off his bed and looked out of his window.

As he looked out he saw the clear blue seas. "Just another dream about my father's war...." He was called on by his father Erieste, who told him to get up and get ready for some practice. Rubbing his eye, Raven got off his bed, and put on his denim jacket and his shoes. The young man walked outside to the sandy beaches.
Erieste was wearing a blue track pants and a white belt. He wasn't wearing a shirt at the time. He was a very muscular man.
"So," Erieste said, "Are you ready for training?"
Raven responded, "I sure am, Dad!"

Unity Islands was a chain of 3 islands formed like a triangle. There were heartless on the islands, but not many to pose a serious threat to the people living here, coupled with the fact that some of the people living in this world were vets of the war 15 years ago, so heartless wasn't an issue.
Raven and Erieste were headed for Sand Island, the moderately sized island of the three (the others being Cape Island, the largest, and Gigantor Island, ironically the smallest of the three) where there were people saying a large armored heartless was attacking livestock there. This was enough for Erieste and Raven to check things out.
As they arrived on Sand Island, Erieste noticed something odd. He said to his son, "Raven, do you notice something weird over there?" Raven looked but all he saw was a bunch of trees, nothing unusual. "It's probably nothing, dad. Let's go!" Raven ran forward into the forest while Erieste looked closer to the trees. "He's probably right," Erieste thought, "my eyes are probably deiciving me for my old age." The man then went into the forest, following his son. As Erieste left, the trees start to flicker, for a split second looking like a black gummi ship.
