Kingdom Hearts: Coded Coming to North America?

Eddie Carroll, the voice of Jiminy Cricket, was e-mailed by a Kingdom Hearts fan and asked if he would be reprising the role of Jiminy in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts game. Eddie replied, stating that he would in fact be providing the voice of Jiminy once more, however, Jiminy Cricket isn't featured in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Could this mean that Eddie will be voicing Jiminy in a North American coded release? Seems likely.

As much as I would love for this to be true, I can't help but be skeptical. Who is this random fan and how likely were they to get a response from a voice actor? And why did it take 4 days for this fan to fess up about this nugget of info? :hmmm:

But if this does mean KH:Coded will be localized, then that would be awesome.

However, as much as I love Kingdom Hearts, I don't think I could play Coded on a phone. If they could port it to the DS or PSP (maybe PSN?), then I'd be all over it :P
 
Hmm....I don't really buy it either. Besides, even if this assumption is true, I seriously doubt he would give currently unannounced information away to strangers - fan or not. No doubt he will get a few more emails from similar fans about this as well - so it will be interesting to see what he has to say to them.

I wouldn't mind seeing Coded be localised (though I doubt Europe will get it anyway - seeing as though we never got the PS2 CoM remake) perhaps as an iPod Touch/iPad/iPhone release or something like that. Or as Fusionist said - PSN, Wiiware, PSP, DS - quite a few places it can go actually.

I thought that at first. But then when I looked at what he's done in the past he's voiced Jiminy in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, RE:CoM and Final Mix+ so he was pretty much stick on to voice him.

I think Coded was always going to come to western shores at some point, it just won't sell well.
