Well I have never done many signatures for forums before but I felt like I would now like to start making them again and as I am so bad at it, this is the time to look among you masters out there for inspiration :D

Here is my first one I have done in like many many months.

Don't know where to upload them to so I can put them full size (It is my current sig, I am working on it again to make it better).

Things that I know are wrong with it, writing and font, I erased to much on the picture of King and the resolution had to be greatly reduced :( I done the sig to small as well (What do you recommend in size?) and there are some other niggles but eh?! good first try :)

You're off to a great start. The text blending is great, the render blending could use more work, but either way, still very good. One thing you should also try looking up is light sources.

What program do you use for graphics?

Here are some nice and simple uploading hosts -

Tinypic
Photobucket
imgur

(When you upload your sigs to any of these hosts, copy the IMG code and paste it in your signature.)

Terrific way to get started. Nice job. (y)

You should consider joining the GFX clans as well.

I agree with raul, this is a awesome start for GFX :) your text is pretty awesome 'makes mine look crappy' xD and I adore the background, I do agree that your render blending needs some work, smudging the render would work great with that background ;) and some lighting would of finished this off very nicely :) A border would help as well ;)

here a good site for tutorials :) I used this place loads when I started out :D: http://www.sigtutorials.com/

keep up the awesome work :)

I use Photoshop CS4 and I got some of the paint brushes I use from Deviant Art :) I know the bleeding needs to be worked on and I didn't want to touch lightning effects etc :/ I have kind of just eliminated the need for someone to create me a sig as I am learning :)

Just made an account on Photobucket so you can look at them that way :)

Here is a Resident Evil 6 one I done, I put a black border round my King one but not this one. I was just experimenting with colours and I thought Resident Evil would be good for like a red tone.

So there we have that :D

I tried doing one with Cloud but I suck at doing the the hair in terms of perfecting it. Can someone show me how to do lighting in a sig? I like the blue I used for this :)

You mean like getting the hair to blend in with the background? I always use a luma matte. Make a copy of your character, color it so that all of the background is black and all of the character is white and then use that as a luma matte for the other layer. If the blending between black and white on the top layer is done right, the hair will blend in to the background perfectly.

This is another sig I done in a small space of time. This time I tried making a sig using a whole image, rather than a cut out of a render. I am trying to see which would be more easier for me. I am having a feeling renders cut out may be the best way to go. I know I'm not great but I do enjoy creating them lets put it that way.
