You've got potential, alright. xD I really like the second sig and Kenshin one as the effects are quite nice. I don't think the background color for the Kenshin sig goes very well with the stock though, but it's still good.

My fav is the 2nd one
though, most of them looks like the render has been crunched together.

as in, made smaller in with,

hmm . . . the 2nd one? it was the last one I made, I guess I still should be practicing, Thanks
Here is some new sigs D:

For your first post of signatures, I like the last one the most where it says azure kite. That one looked the most clear and effective to me since it wasn't blurry or squashed.

For your second post, I'd pick the second one. It's clear but I think the text can improve.

Just out of curiosity, what program are you use to develop these? The reason I ask is so that I can give a proper opinion and advice to aid improvement.

Your last two ones are definitely much better, especially the Death Note sig. Very nice usage of lighting...you didn't overdo it or anything. The red lighting on Light's face made him look even more evil somehow.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 1.0, my CS2 copy isn't working >_<

and Thanks Mitsuki

The red lighting was already in the original scene. :P

Anyway, your work is okay for a beginner, but don't use multiple stocks, because having more than one distracts the attention from the other one. There should only be one focal point, with the text on/near it (if you choose to use text), and the prominent effects on or near it. You want the focal point to be just by the middle of the tag. Just don't make it too crowded. The Zack tag's background is pretty good, but I don't like how the text was shoved in the corner and Zack in the other corner.

Remember, you don't always have to use text. A lot of tags are fine without it, and placing in text where it doesn't belong can ruin a tag. I'm personally bad at text, so I don't use it much.

As for this tag, I don't like the black spot on the side, and I don't like how the foreground washes out the image you used. You should erase part of the foreground in order to prevent it from dominating the stock and crop down the size of the tag a bit.

Your program probably offers blending effects, so you should create raster layers, floodfill them with color, and then set them on a blending mode to see how they look. Play around with the different blending methods to get used to it.

In my opinion, the best tag you've posted in this thread is the Zack one; it has good coloring, a good background, and isn't too crowded.

Thanks for the Advice I'll put that in mind, btw do you know how can I make good BG.
I made this one in 3 mins so obviously it ain't any good

Another ones:

Zack V.1:

Zack V.2:

which one is better V.1 or 2? o_O

i think V.2 is better than V.1 but i prefer the Nissan 350 Z to them both as the 350 Z is my favorite car

I like the way you did the second and the last one, they're aboslutely...Umm...I dont know how to describe it...ZOMG!
Really good effects XD

V.2's better and you can see the text much better as well.

The car sig's pretty tight, but a little too messy as you can hardly see the car. Perhaps make it stand out more? I like the choice of color background though.

I'll take that in mind Suki, by the way I was trying somethings on the 350Z signature and here's what I got:

EDIT: I removed the text from the sig

and Here are other ones that I made while practicing:

Kira Yamato

Assassin Creed

Tifa - Final Fantasy VII

and that's all, so what do you think?

I prefer the latest version of the 350Z and i also think that the tifa sig is very well done with the images and colours

Here's another signature:

by the way anyone feel like giving me some pictures because I'm out of pictures (characters and BG)

Probably the best thing you've made so far. It just has a certain appeal to it that overrules what are in your other tags.

But a lot of your tags look like you're starting to blend stocks into the signature itself, which isn't something that makes things look nice when you first start out. Mind you, if a stock is a single palette (shades of red like the Kira pic, for example)of colours, it'll probably produce better results than one with many colours.

For now, just work on effects around the signature, and adjusting the lighting on your tags. Also, be sure to look at tutorials and learn how to use tools. :>

I do look at tutorials but the only problem is that my Photoshop is an old version so not all of the tools or Brushes are available to me.

if your looking for characters to use why not just go onto Google or Photobucket and search for a random character (first one that pops into your head) and use him/her
