Over the course of the time between now and December 1st we're going to start occasionally going through the ACP and deleting most of the nonessencial things. We won't however touch anything in the Halloween or Red Mountains areas. Triggered areas will probably be the first affected, considering that, to my knowledge, they cannot be accessed anyway.

So far, only the books have been deleted (since there were few of those anyway) but will probably be more things, mostly useless stuff like the Colliseum trophies or the Vanir monsters.

This shouldn't have a drastic effect on any of your characters (for instance, we won't touch spells or items until the close)

Anyway, just keep this in mind for when you're playing and notice something missing that this is most likely down to a small cleanup in an area.

Thank you for your cooperation, yadda yadda yadda :monster:

Thanks Damon, maybe this will give me some initiative to get me back into the whole RPG atmosphere. Unless of course it is still a little laggy. I guess we will fine out come December/January.

Well, in my experience at least there is sufficiently less lag since the server move, you've only got page load errors really to worry about now, but that's pretty site-wide anyway xD

Considering your level, i'd take a wager you're not much further than the Belanoy Tower so it's unlikely you can get far in the current RPG, what with triggered areas being inaccessible for reasons unknown.

With little cleans being taken of early though, it should cut down on time till we can re-open the RPG, and it's not like deleting components for instance is a huge loss in this game :wacky:

^ True. As much as I'd love to craft my own equipment with cool names, images, and nice stats, this year's RPG really doesn't offer that, so I'll be really looking forward to this changing next year, it should be exciting, and Marketplace should be booming. :monster:

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not really bothering with playing the RPG any more for this year, but for those who are, this is good to know (and I just like to acquire as much information as I can, so I appreciate it too, anything to speed up the RPG re-opening would be great. :D).

I have a suggestion, why not create an area, a caged like Colosseum, and send every player (after a massive reset) there. That way we can play against each other while you all keep deleting stuff related to the RPG-08 and continue to work on RPG-09.

Simple, delete all then make three simple spells, give us a component or two and let us go hack and slash this last month.

Well normally I would have no issue with this, however with it being a PvP area levelling up would occur, leading to constant adjustments. The areas this time around shouldn't take too long anyway ;)

Can we still craft? I keep trying, and the page freezes. If not, then thats alright, but I still wanted to make one more keyblade :sad2:

Can't say I know why the page would freeze when you try to craft O_O hopefully it fixes itself with next year's RPG, naturally we'll test to see if it works.

Ya, but y connection isn't ften the best and the RPG can be fine, i'd put it down to the problems of this year's RPG and hopefully after the clean up it'll be in better working order. :jtc:

Other than doing a piece by piece deletion of areas now. Lets wait til December 1st. Not much really can be done with the new game til game is fully cleared anyway.

I would rather see items, spells and whatnot all removed before we do new game. This game needs a clean slate.

25 days should be plenty of time to add enough areas, in game, to keep players busy.
