I've had an Epiphany

So, we all know some horrible fiend is trying to destroy the site. Some people believe it to be Satan, others Kim Jong-Ill and a few think darth vader/ Saddam Hussein.
However the truth is much scarier. I too put my mind to work, solving this puzzle, and I asked myself two questions, who wants revenge on FFF?
Who would gain most from the merger?
Then the answer struck me.
MLFY.
Why does he want revenge? Because at this very moment he is in the FFF prison, which is a motive for revenge amirite?
You now must be thinking what does he gain? What does MLFY like the most in the whole world? A fishing forum must somewhere mention WHALES.
