Isn't Sin......Stronger Than Other Bosses In The FF Series

Okay alot of weird debate here. if the final fantasy boses were real then im pretty sure that it wouldnt be the worst. his week spots are obvious. Pretty much his joints and size doesnt matter. Sin is extra ordinarily slow. Sephiroths sword size wouldnt matter in real life. people fight with poles one handed. a sword of that length with the right strength wouldnt be any different from a short sword. surely the width of clouds sword would be worse.
Besides sin is just an oversized fish ^^ im sure we would have a new range of tuna on the shelves before long. worst boss? dont think there was one. but im gonna say seymour on mount gagazett or however you spell that. he just annoyed me zombying and casting full life.

I don't think Sin would be the worst thing to come to life from Final Fantasy. I think Sin in the real world would work the same way as the Cloverfield Monster. It would appear and start wrecking shit, cause mass panic, the city would then be evacuated and the government would bomb the thing to kingdom come and count their losses. I just doubt that in the land of realism (real life) Sephiroth could beat the thing single handedly. I may have been mistaken on how his sword would work in real life (Cloud's sword would be worse) but I still doubt it's something he could fight on his own if they were both in the real world.

As for which boss is the strongest, be it in the real world or in fantasy, I haven't a clue.

i still reckon penance would win, he didn't have to charge up an attack, he just did judgement day, and you have game over written over your screen, and then congrats you just lost the game

having said that, omega from dirge of cerebus is also pretty badass, considering it almost destroyed FFVII's world, and that was without the help of meteor like sephiroth did, though CHAOS did destroy him, kinda like the silver surfer did to his master so go figure.

either way, penance has my vote for obvious reasons, if you don't know who he is, look him up, even the dark aeons, such as dark magus sisters, or dark anima or dark bahumat are more of a threat then sin. Sin was way to slow and sluggish for his own good. the albed could've destroyed sin with machina if they had more firepower, think about it, in that battle at mushroom rock road, where they had that giant energy cannon, imagine if they set up another two or three of those for sin, sin wouldn't have stood i chance if you ask me

don't bother asking what would happen if they actually existed, we'd just blow them up with conventional war heads, if that didn't work, nuc's, if that didn't work... well... use your imagination

You're taking stats/hitpoints/damage into account, so your technically right, the FFX monsters own pretty much everything.
Like Penace has 12,000,000 hp (i think) whereas Ozma has 55,535, but i reckon Ozma is more of a challenge.
But you need to think how they would be in a fantasy world, up against Exdeath, Kefka, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja/Necron, Vayne etc.

If they were in our own world the only one i believe that could do some serious damage would be Kefka.

Yeah but that's just how the game's hitpoints/damage are, look at FFXIII, the hitpoints of some of the bosses are rediculous, but do you think any of them could go toe to toe with Kefka/Sin etc?

Ozma would smash Tidus' whiny little face in :D

Sorry but the XIII characters could probably beat Sin if they were leveled up to what they are by the end of the game. I just can't see them not beating Sin because of the damage they can end up giving out and hits they can take.

I'd be disappointed if such a game had to explain otherwise.

I bet they would as well. But i'm trying to put damage/hitpoints out of the equasion.
FFXIII could probably beat the cast of 6,7,8 combined if you do it that way.
Just think about it as they would be in the same game, based on their physical and personality traits other than stats.

Okay, so here's how the battle would play out. Sin does this:

And Lightning does this:

But going back to the previous conversation of Kefka... I think he would spend so long laughing that Sin would wipe him out. I guess in a way Sin is pretty strong, just not game-wise.

An area where Sin was weak was intelligence (he was a walking shell), so some characters would have an advantage there. Too bad most villains just don't have the size to beat 'em.

Seymour was pretty strong when looking at it from an abilities standpoint. He wasn't all that wise though, even if he tried to be.

^^^^^^^ Hahaha nice i could watch Snow getting smacked in the face for hours.

Sin has the size so i guess he would it would be hard to destroy either way... Kefka basically had limitless power though, i guess it's a pretty stupid argument, cause they all got beat by a bunch of humans!

One thing i think would destroy Sin is The Invincible from IX.
After seeing what it did to Alexander who was probably just as big as Sin i could imagine it being the most effective way of killing Sin.

if we're talking the sheer epicness of the bosses, i'd say Necron has everything beat, being the embodiment of death and all that. if we're going with stats and difficulty, sin is nowhere near the most intimidating. fighting it felt more like sticking needles into someone's eye than fighting a terrifying monstrosity.

ok i just faught and killed sin.....he went down like a dead duck.....overdrive sin died in a whopping 2 hits....one holy and one of the tall magus sisters plain attack.....it was freakin pathetic

I'mseeing alot of sephiroth's vs. sin's.
Well sin has the abilitie to manipulate gravity on a large scale, but sephiroth can use the black materia to call forth a meteor deal massive damage. I however do not believe the meteor would affect sin very much. Especially with yu yevon repairing him. Sin has advantage of overall power but sephiroth can move faster and isn't to much weaker than sin. Just smaller. If Garland got kuja from 9 got involved in this (kuja lokks like sephiroth to me) things would heat-up, but either sephiroth or sin would easily get rid of him. Necron could probably take sin, and so could ultemicia or kefka but we have to keep in mind sin regenerates and creates sinspawn. Now sinspawn is nothing to worry about but...
:holyshit:This battle would get out of hand pretty quickly, I should look into this. It could be fun!

Sin does stand a chance, if you remember Operation Miihen, when they were attacking sin, he absorbed the power from the Machina, and Blasted everyone away. That shield is very strong, and it can give sin a chance to use his abilities, like Gravija and other things. He also has Yu Yevon, and Jecht inside. Sin is just the Armour, the real challenge after sin, is dealing with jecht and his Final Aeon form.
