Well iv had internet banking set up for almost 6 months now but ive never got round to actually doing anything with it?

What sorta things can i do? Obviously keep track of statemens etc but can i open savings accounts and switch my money between my account and my savings? Im with Lloyds tsb btw.

So how many of you use internet banking and how does it benefit you?

Well for one I linked my Bank with Quicken Deluxe. This allows me to do quite a lot actually.

1) Pay bills via electronic checks
2) Pay bills online via Bank
3) Send/Receive money from people/to people
4) Budget summaries
5) Financial Planning

I use quicken for everything. With me taking on a full time job recently and establishing line of credit for my house mortgage I still have, I have to budget very well right now in order to feed 2 people and 5 animals. Also in order for me to propose/marry my girl, it will mean I'm taking on her debt and mine so I can basically have unlimited options with online banking.

I never have to leave my house now to pay bills =).

I mostly use mine to keep track of my transactions.

I've recently started using it to pay off my credit card whenever I need to.

It's a handy device to have and it's free, and it saves the bank sending out statements which cost you if you're not a student.

I just use mine to see how much money I have in there instead of trekking all the way to a cash machine, i think you can set direct debits up with it too, although, Ive not had to try that yet, I just like to be able to know whats in my account when I wanna know

I have both my credit and debit cards hooked up to the internet branch of a bank. I use it mostly to check how much money I have so that I don't go over my spending limit. Also I can check to see how much interest (note: a penny D: ) I accrued after opening my saving account.

I only used it for checking my balance to be honest.

Then I "forgot" one of the security things, like "the forth letter of the word" and all that shit.

I know for a fact what that is, but for some reason it wasn't excepting it, so either my memory has gone to shit or there's been a mix up somewhere. Wanted to reset it but got a message saying I'd need to phone and quote a code blah blah blah so haven't bothered with it since.

I love internet banking.

It's so good being able to log in online and check out how much went in and what's come out etc.

It's also good to check if you've been double charged for certain things.

I remember checking in one day and seeing that a shop I had just been to had charged me the same amount TWICE!

I did a print screen of the transactions and took it in to the shop and they gave me my money back.

It's also good if you need to pay bills that can't be paid at the post office or anywhere else that's easy.

Very handy thing it is!
