In Five Years, do you see yourself...

still keeping in contact with the people you talk to on here all the time?Do you even see yourself one day meeting some of them? Do you even think that: A. The Forums will still exist, and B. if they do, do you see yourself still on?

In five years i don't know where i'll be, as for keeping contact with people i met here it depends on them. I don't bother keeping contact with people if they aren't going to keep in contact with me. I used to care in the past whether people did or not but i developed a i don't fucking care attitude now.

Meeting one or some of them i doubt it, like i said it all depends on whether or not they want to keep in touch with me. I have no doubt in my mind that the forum will still be here, though i can't say whether or not i'll stick around. Its too soon to tell anyway, I was going to start being more active when i joined in june but after having past experiences with the other forums i was on i didn't start then.

I am somewhat active now but i just don't see the point really, but i'm sticking around anyway till the 23rd. I won't be back on till december, for reasons i won't say. If it turns out that my being here doesn't go well i'll just close myself off completely and just not bother anymore. I'm not one to keep trying after failing so many times.


But thats all i have to say on the matter, if i'm still around in a year or so i'll add more input then.

I can't really say what I'll be doing five years from now. A lot of the things that will happen to me in the future are up to chance. I wouldn't drop contact with everyone unless something really big happened. There's not much I can say.

I met one person who used to go to this forum a long time ago. We had a great time, but the only reason we met is because we didn't live too far away from each other. The problem is that most of the people I want to meet live either on the other side of this country or in a different country all together. My wallet's not up for it. If I were to go to that country for some other business, that would be a different story.

As long as there are people who can pay for the forums and maintain them, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't exist anymore. Will I still be on the forums? I can really say. It depends on where I am. If I will be in China, for instance, then I'm not sure if I'll be able to access this site.

And as to the forums, I dont think it will even exist due to 2012 coming, and the world ending and whatnot. If it does still exist somehow, I may stick around, although I may be talking to new people.

Well, I can confirm the Glagow trip was a roaring sucess, and Il also be meeting SS next September as well. I think James and Lew can confirm I'm also exactly the same IRL as I am on here as well 8F and we are defo doing it again, I'l probably haunt James forever, I don't think I'l let him forget I exist and terrorise him til I die 8F

I don't think that far ahead, so I don't know. If all goes according to plan, most likely not. I'll be pretty busy with work, but I'll probably try and at least make time for myself to get on the net. I have, however, learned that many forums tend to go under due to one of the following: drama, loss of interest, lack of time, lack of funding or a mix of those.

I probably would because when I join a forum, I tend to stay for five or six years, then keep contact with them on msn or via email. Hopefully I will meet some of you one day because it would be awesome!! I'm guessing this forum will be alive for a while and hopefully I'll be on it.

Well, in another forum I was a part of and became very involved with, things turned for the worst very quickly. I had sort of left there for a while and took a break. I have recently become active again, but I'll never be as active as I once was. I guess what I'm trying to say is, sometimes things that we don't control start to take a toll. A forum will start to turn in a direction that you might not be happy with and you'll become dissatisfied. Even on that other forum, I never forgot who my friends were, and they never forgot about me after being absent for roughly a year. But things aren't the same and I don't talk to them as much as I used to.

In 5 years worth of time, unless you are dynamic enough to adjust to the changes, you'll probably bail at some point. Do I think I'll still be in contact with everyone I know here in 5 years? If I am, it'll be minimal at best. Will I meet anyone? It will be happening soon, yes. I'm sure the forums will still be around, but who knows what it will look like by then. I can't say for sure if I'll be around or not. Even now I'm not around as much as I was, due to some issues. I most likely won't be around, much like my interest on that other forum.

I would love to still be apart of the forums-- it seems like a great place an' everything but it all depends really. Noone can predict the future.... In five years I might be married have kids an what not and will be too busy to keep in contact with the forums. But who knows? I hope to stay as long as I can though Plus I haven't really been here long enough and haven't really talked to many people on the forums...(as far as contacting them goes seen a few peeps 'round but never really talked to them) just been browsing the topics an' whatnot. But I plan on talking to the members and making pals hopefully

Acck tbh I love this forum I love it love it love it! I dont know if it will still exist but I have some people from here on msn but im not active on that much. As for the forum I will remain here but If somethin awesome happens or like aRGIE SAID I lose my memory or something I might forget about this place. I only want to meet a few people from here notably my friends on the forum. I dont see myself active in the future though. Lets say I got like 5000-8000 posts or something then ya its gonna get pretty boring. Also if my friends leave from here then I can say its pretty much over....... Their are some very sweet members on here too. Anyway I dont know yet

I don't necessarily talk directly to any of the people on here as it is, so probably not. If that changes however, and it's an honest friendship, then I see no reason why not to keep it up.

Negative. Not that I have anything against that. There's been a handful of people I knew online and met with in person (only arranged to meet one in particular and the rest came as a result), it's been totally awesome ever since.

Given my history, no. I've been a part of different fanbase forums in the past. Everything from Yu-Yu-Hakusho to Bulbagarden, and as of late, this. Ownership changes, members come and go, old topics rehash (and rehash, and rehash), another fanbase intrigues, or I simply have too many things to do.

Forums are usually a product of my insomnia as it is (not all the time), as I'm typically a very active person on a day-to-day basis. However, if plans work out and I work my way to Grad school in Pre-Med (which would be in about 5 year's time), then I won't have time for any of it, let alone this one.

I'll always love Final Fantasy though, so who knows?
