How fast u think i can beat it? ..... oh and btw i have a side kick. (well im more like the sidekick but wutever u get the point) me and my friend are gonna play through the game starting tonight. give me some time estimits on how long itll take.

Also, I tried to complete this game as fast as possible, and ended up with 45 hours at the end of disk 3, but I had to train and got lost a lot so I'll estimate about...35 hours.

its gana take more than one night thats for sure, for any ff game. never played ff8 so im not exactly sure the length of it.
me and a friend tried to pull an all nighter to beat paper mario. i think we did it in 3-4 days. we had to take turns sleeping to get it done.XD

lol It'll take a while. It took me 2 days to beat disk 1 I think... Remember there's a lot of dialogue. Although I did have distractions. :/
I think it'd be safe to say that 1 night is nowhere near long enough though.

Hahaha you can complete disc one in about 10 hours - probably a little less, but I too get distracted although that's probably about right
Could't give an estimate on the rest of the disks Im afraid, that's totally when I start going off doing my own thing
I'd say if you were like a robot or something, you could do it within 2 days if you played it none stop, watch out for Ultimecias bastard castle if you haven't played it before though, I STILL need the guide for that part and I have completed the stupid game more times than you can shake a stick at.

I've never attempted anything like that but I'm sure it'll take longer than one night. Keep your levels really low and it could probably be done in a few but not one night.

Like Moonie said, just stay at level 7. But doing that you're going to have to draw a lot of mgic which will take along time.
Disc 2 is reasonably short, so should only take about five hours.
Disc three will take longer, perhaps 10-15 hours of the story and you'll want to draw all the magic you can from the Islands closest to heaven and hell, so that's another two hours.
Like Bambi said, ultimecia's castle is difficult, just beat the bosses that you need to, so you can cast magic, heal and limit break and ten go fight Ultimecia.
So it shouldn't take too much longer.

And keep all your Holy Wars (if you get any doing a speed playthrough) for the final bosses. Invincability ftw!
