I really don't get how people make threads on "Hottest Guy / Girl" threads...yeah I've thought that Rikku and stuff was hot and such, but still, over and over it's kinda weird really. I'm not going to make threads on it.

Thoughts?

It's actually pretty easy. Once you've written your thread, simply submit it. No different than making any other thread.

I wanted to post summat constructive but well, it's just not gunna happen....

It's just all in the name of fun innit? If you think it's weird, don't venture into said threads, can't say it bothers me Iv posted in one or 2 myself xD
 
Dont make threads then. It their opinion and theres nothing wrong in liking a character. They were made to be fancied ina way otherwise they wouldnt make them look stunning.
 
I'm just trying to make a thread to see what people who think that those types of threads are odd - not really on how "then don't make threads if you don't like how people make the threads on them then".

I was simply saying why people made those threads. You cant stop people from posting in threads you know. What I posted was my opinon on what you had said.
 
I think the threads like that do more good than harm, I think the reasons they do it, is because they can.

I guess it's simply something to do with their time.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with the two above mentioned threads ^^
 
Meh, it's just a thread. No harm done. Look at the spam section. I feel dumb having to read certain threads...so I just exit out of there and continue looking for other interesting topics. I guess what I'm trying to say is...just ignore it. Don't dwell upon it...
 
Sometimes the whole "hottest FF guy/girl" threads can get a bit out of hand. Especially when rabids are involved.

It is very scary when people treat the characters as if they were real and some people even get the impression that they are going to marry their favorite character one day. :O
 
Don't find it odd at all, people like actors don't they, they can never have them or possibly never meet them. Why's finding a video game character attractive any different? and seeing how many others like them. Maybe it makes them feel less odd knowing other people find virtual characters attractive, and that it's no harm, most people do it, not just them. ;)
 
The whole thread idea doesn't bother me whatsoever, to be honest its a pretty good idea...though some of the things said within the thread can be pretty strange its all harmless fun at the end of the day.
I'll admit some of the FF characters can be good looking but the its not as if they are the next Eva Longoria.

Pretty much what Rydia said is what I think put into much better wording. I suppose it's cool to say that "character" looks hot, but when you start going more than that :blink:

Yeah, Like Bambi/Bono said, it's all in the name of fun, it's just like "who is the hottest celebrity" completely pointless, and maybe a little bit sad, but it's fun :P
 
Meh, I just ignore really weird fan threads. Yeah, yeah, characters are cool, but they aren't real. I find laughable how people can fight over people that aren't real, oh well, the essence of being a fan of someone.

I admit, I am a fan of villains that aren't 100% evil, like Ganondorf.
 
I dunno, sometimes it's fun to argue about pointless stuff, as long as you don't really mean anything by it.
 
Well...people do have many fantasies and well I guess they wanna share them with the world and such....nothing more you can really do about it, just put up with it....
 
No one ask you to make such a thread,Besides you are just givin your opinion about some pixels and thats it.

to tell ya the truth I'll gladly say that Tifa is the hottest FF Female character they made, it's not even wrong it's as I said it's just an opinion..If you started to think like that you'll end up saying that the all forums idea about Final Fantasy games is stupid and weird!
