awesome film... and the irish accent the actors put on is pretty dam good :lew:
 
Russel crowe in Robin hood was just terrible. He sounded Scottish then english then Irish :S

Mel gibson in braveheart....lulz but he was better than chritopher lambert in Highlander.

They need to start having actors play theyre own country men.

Johnny lee miller in trainspotting though. I would have NEVER guessed he was English. Hes brilliant. I think with slight similarities between Irish and Scots its easier for us to mimic eachothers accents but still its never right.

Pretty Much, but I think Tom Cruise did the worst accent ever when he did his Irish one.

 
I have not seen that film. I like Brad Pitt because of Inglorious Basterds, Se7en and Fight Club but the trailer made no sense to me when I saw it in the cinema.

Again, probably down to excessive alcohol. :(
 
I watched a rupert grint film that was about irish teenagers and that... can't remember the name but my god did he put on a bad irish accent :sad3:

se7ven is an absolutely brilliant film. I think christian bale does a pretty good london accent. Its not great but when i watched him in the prestige which btw is a brilliant film i thought he was pretty good.

The only thing about Liam neeson playing rob roy is that neeson is 6'4 and rob roy was barely even 5ft. But i think he did well with our accent. And funnily enough in braveheart most of the Scots were played by Irishman. Brian cox is obviously Scottish however. Yet the one character in the film who is Irish was played by a Scot...Thats messed up :lew: and il never forgive them for theyre depiction of Robert the Bruce.

Russel crowe actually stormed out of a BBC radio interview when he was questioned about the accent thing in robin hood :lew: He can be a good actor too when he talks normally. LA confidential and gladiator etc
 
Liam Neeson is looking hot for a 60 year old, id totally get into his Y Fronts if I was single
