so im 20 years old, in no way am i a nerd or anything. im actually the exact opposite, athlete, bodybuilder, mixed martial artist. i dont even have one gaming console, havent since i was 12. but for some reason i still want to play final fantasy 9? i loved the game so much when i was younger and just recently its drawing me back. has this happened to anyone else? do people still play games like final fantasy 7,8, and 9?
 
Since this is more of a sort of intro thread, I'm moving this to Guadosalam for you. =] Welcome to FFF! And yes, obviously we do play Final Fantasy games otherwise we wouldn't have this forum. :lew: There are members here older than you who still play the games.
 
Oh, believe me, there are still people who play games like FF 7, 8 and 9. In fact a lot of us play games like FF 4, 5 and 6. And 1, 2, and 3. That's not even counting 10 and beyond.
Believe me, just name a Final Fantasy game and there's probably someone out there who is probably playing it as we speak.

yah i duuno why but the game is just so damn fun! i think i just love being able to build up characters to ge stronger and better. also, the storyline is great! im convinced! im going to go buy the game again and borrwo my sisters playstation 2! haha
 
I am quite an athlete myself, and I am sure you'll find other fellow sportsmen who also enjoy playing video games. Right not I am more into first person shooters, but I still have a bit of space for RPGs. Welcome aboard. :pitler:
 
ya dont get me wrong. me and the guys play call of duty and what not. but this game isnt really that exciting to the average person. but i dont care its fun and its a challenege know what im saying
 
Final Fantasy IX is the best one in our opinion. We love it, and we recently got abrand new copy of it still in the wrapper. :D

Welcome! And I have a friend who's playing FFII right now, I was playing FFIV a few minutes ago, probably gonna play FFI or VI in a bit...

Trust me, people play games a LOT older than VII.
