Uh... who?
gosh, can't you read? :ahmed: it says "chevelle". they're my favorite band ever and my signed copy of their cd came today and i am happy. :reptar:

@Big Casino i wish i had vinyl :okay:

whatever, I'll take this over not getting anything.

I got into vinyl this year. Ive got a big collection now of bands i love of recent times and many older bands like the stones and the beatles, pink floyd etc.

my dad swears by vinyl. he says the sound quality is amazing and very clear. i wouldn't know tho. all my vinyls are of classic 50s/60s music :lew:

The sound from vinyl is a lot sharper.

I've not heard it often, but I've loved it when I've heard it.

the problem with vinyl is that it deteriorates a lot quicker than a cd if you don't care for them very very well. my dad has an entire collection of beatles albums on vinyl, i was very jealous when i saw it

Nothing wrong with CD's! I'm very happy for you Cali!! :ari:!
I would love a CD signed by my favourite artist!!

It's better when you see them in person and hand over something and then they sign it. There is a part of their soul contained in the signature then.

I have the soul of Stan Lee trapped in my Avengers #1 .

But any signature from people you like is good. It brings you spiritually closer to the person, like a holy relic.

The thing i like about vinyls is the big sleeves or even better the ones that open up etc and the big artwork. I just think theyre cool. And yeah the sound from a vinyl is very good. It seems like it just sounds perfect without having to play about with the treble bass and mid etc like you would on a cd player or a docking station

My mum had Queens entire back catalogue on vinyl AND SHE GAVE IT ALL AWAY

Ive got a part of Matt Smiths soul on a picture, sadly I could speak when I saw him, I just did a nervous giggle and ran away

We have a fantastic record shop in aberdeen called the cave. I got the division bell by pink floyd on 12'' vinyl. Its the special blue vinyl edition. Was in mint condition til i peeled off the price sticker :jtc: Anyway i got it for £18 and me and jim looked on ebay outta curiosity and it had several bids and was up to £57 and still had 6 hours of time left.
