Why can't human beings ever make sense?

The ability to communicate with one another is like playing a game of football. I see it quite often in life. Not sure what to make of it.

I think it has to do with us slowly getting 'dumber'. We are learning all kinds are hard to understand concepts, but the stuff that SHOULD come naturally doesn't anymore. Basically, we are all socially retarded. And I think part of the problem is computers. Take anybody who grew up with a computer (basically anyone around 25 and younger...myself included), and you will probably have a harder time talking to them for various reasons. I will admit, I'm much quieter in person than I am on the internet (my personality doesn't change one bit though), and I'd like to think the same goes for a good number of people.

In short, ask yourself this: if you were to hold a conversation with a farmer and a computer programmer, which of the two would be able to hold a conversation better? I'd like to think the farmer.

Huh. I came to a different answer :mokken:.

You’re so right. Life is rough, no doubt. Words and sentences are part of human knowledge, no doubt too. Sometimes I wish things could be easier like give just a touch or just a stare at someone, with no words in the middle and throwing away all formalities, but it's practically impossible today.

But try creating strategies to reach the spot you want if you can't do it informally. Just think about what other would guess if you say something outrageous and then try it. This may bring you less struggles when you manage to control it well :-)

Like all things, it depends on who you are and how your mind works.

We're all at different levels with different things. Some people just like to squash themselves to fit into the mould a little bit more.

As for communication itself, once you've mastered it I think people are mostly ok in that department. For others it can take a long time.

For me, it's the easiest to communicate with someone who, what I like to call, runs on the same wavelength as I do. Pretty much, if we can carry on a conversation for a long time about anything, they're running on my wavelength and it's a pretty nice feeling.

Maybe figure out what it is that this person/these people love to talk about and go from there?

lmao :lew:

I think theres only one person who will know :wacky: Though if you can figure it out il buy you enough jelly to say..fill a bath?

Essentially once the barrier is down then it may well just flow out, but knocking the barrier down is no easy task with some people. It's not always a conscious or controllable barrier either.

As for people being terrible... We're all terrible in our own ways. It's part of being human. We're also good in some ways too. We're all blind and dumped on a rock, and it takes time to know what we're to do on it.
