How often do you read the booklet?

It all depends if it is a new genre and that I've never played it. It also depends how available I am to playing the game. Let's say I buy it but know I won't be able to play it until later that day.. well usually I'll familiarize myself with the game by looking at the booklet so I won't be completely new to the game.

Also booklets general have very little information for you to work with now a days. Back in the day it actually used to have Moves for fighting games, and secret hints and such.. now they usually just consist of control schemes and display features.

I never even remove the booklet out of the case for most games. If I ever take it out, it's to look at some kind of minimap the game may have supplied or if its a game im not familiar with the controls for (there have been times when I didn't realize I could use a certain ability that would be very helpful). But for the most part, I never look at them, but I do keep them.

I very rarely read the booklets to the games I buy but I have a tendency to stare at the artwork and skim for typos just to giggle about it which I have came across in a few of the booklets for my games.
