How much would you pay for a rare game??

I'll be paying 70$ for the special edition of persona 3, but thats because i heard it was really long and really amazing, this isn't a normality.

Well since I can easily download games to an emulator, I wouldn't pay anything for one. :P

I will not pay anymore than $50 for any video game and even then I'm hesitant to.

The most I'd ever pay for a game would be 60-75 us dollars. Anything else is a little ridiculous. It's just a game. I mean a game. I'd rather pay 50 bucks for a peanut butter cup than pay over 75 for a game.

*That was my fat moment v.v*

For a rare game, i'd pay around 70-100$ canadian. I bought FF7 off of ebay for around 70 dollars and i thought it was a pretty good deal considering it goes for up to 150$ sometimes. People will do crazy things for rare games.

Depends... If it's a collection of Megami Tensei remakes for PSone hacked with english translations, I'd pay maybe $100-$200. The first 5-6 Megaten games were never released in English, it would be SO worth it...

I dont think I could ever pay more than 30 quid (no pound sign grr) And even then I would have to REALLY want the game.

Over the years I have paid over 100 quid on FFVII because my copies have either died, been leant out and never got back or got was stolen (grr) but in one lump payment I don't think I would be willing to pay that much. I know if my most recent copy died Id be off buying another one >_<

I remember the last time I looked for a "rare game". It was called Rez, for PS2. If anyone can find it these days it'll probably be marked at around £100 minimum, I'd say. Which is a shame, I thought it looked pretty good...

I wouldn't pay more than £60 for a game, but even then it would have to be an amazing game. And it would all depend on how much money I was earning at the time.

I don't know if this counts, but I remember harassing a game vendor at the flea market for almost two months, 'cause I was trying to find "Legend of Dragoon" for the PS1, and he was finally able to find me a copy. I spent 36.00 Canadian on it; it wasn't used, completely new copy.

There are rare games everywhere, I would love to get a hold of Final Fantasy VII, but its worth $300 brand new and $200 used, so its hard to find at a bargain price in good condition.

Im also looking for MArvel vs. Capcom 2 on Dreamcast, that crap is $120 new and $90 used. So to get rare games at a bargain price is difficult, but not impossible. So it depends on how much your willing to spend on the game, BASICALLY!!! :\

I really wouldn't pay more than £30, and would prefer less than £20. I dunno... I'm just not one to spend a lot on a game simple 'cause it's rare. I'm not a collector; I'm a gamer. :P I'll only pay more than £30 if it's something I reaaaaaaally want like Twilight Princess, which was around £40.

Hm... I just depended. It would necessarily be good as just 'rare'. It would probably have to look really good, and probably be by Square Enix, or somethin' of the like.

Up to $70 unless I just got reeeeally frustrated and wanted it REEEEEEEEEEALLY badly. So yeah, it's frustrating that Pokemon Revolution is $60, USED.

(I'd rather spend money on books, then games, though.)

Ooh, speaking of the price of games... I'm not actually sure where I heard this, it may not be true. But I heard that some FFVII games are going up to $300 now, 'cause it's really hard to get your hands on 'em.

Jeez. XD I don't think I would pay that much for a game.

And as for the cosplaying stuff, I would happily pay more, except for the fact I don't cosplay, although I'd like to. All I really have is a Kisuke hat, and a Death Note pendant.

I probably spent 100$ dollars on ff7 cause it kept breaking. why was ff7 the most breakable game?
