How much is this worth?

I was at a yard sale recently when I saw this disc, I bought it and now I want to know how much its really worth, the disc is "Final Fantasy VII: SquareSoft On PlayStation Previews"
 
your best bet would be lookin on google or sumthin, but honestly i coudnt even see you gettin a pack of skittles for it
 
I think its very cheap on the internet probably like 12 dollars or something obviously the greatest hits version not the original but its the same thing i bought it in 1997 and it cost 97 dollars Jaja.
 
In actuality, the game is probably worth about $30 or so if you'd go to a store and buy it. However, many people aren't going to let go of the original game too easily anymore. It's getting harder to find in stores, so if you look online, people may be placing bids on the game for up to $70. Dead serious.
 
I have actually seen copies in all sorts of prices, from 20 dollars up to 300 dollars!! ._.;;

Sometimes on eBay you can find individual discs that go for above $50.
 
Yeah, just think as time goes by I think the price can only go up more. Or you think maybe someday it will drop?

I think for a masterpiece like this game its awfuly cheap but i guarantee when its out of stock everywhere people will be killing them selves for a copy and will pay anything like the snes versions of the legacy installments people would give up to 3,000 dollars for those.
 
FFVII is quite possibly the best game ever made and therefore people will try and get the best price they can when they sell it.

Your item is probably worth $30 unless it was fully packaged and it might be worth approx $100.

The actual FFVII game is extremely rare to come across in shops and eBay really is the only place that i can think of.

My best FF purchase was a brand new and sealed copy of FFIX for £12 ($24 at the time). Was such a great deal i was made up xD
 
most ff games/collectables have to be bought via eBay nowadays and largely eBay is a decent source, but prices vary; however the price for ff7 is generally about £15+ - it depends how lucky you get with an auction and it's condition
 
I sold my copy on half.com for about 40 bucks and it was a greatest hits version....I now wish I didnt, I would like to have it in my collection, oh well...perhaps I will cross paths at a yard sale or something.
 
I have Original disks in a Platinum (U.K's greatest hits) case. I want a MINT condition copy...just to own and look at. As I know its cheesy to say and I'm not going to try compare it to LOTR.

But look at the price of a 1st edition LOTR book. Worth thousands, FFVII will be worth hundreds I think in say like 100years.
 
Yeah, if I could get a mint one I would love that, I love collecting things. I do not know if Video games will increase in value like that (as in hundreds), we shall wait and see though.
 
It depends on which version: If it's not the 'Greatest Hits', then it *has* some potential... but this is not guaranteed.

For the only real value for me is sentimental, and I can't even imagine myself even CONSIDERING on selling mine.
 
Its a priceless collectors item that nobody wants to buy ever, but hold the sacred artifact close to your heart and remember Aerith's pain. And let a little flower grow in your soul. That her soul will water. Lmao
 
... or remember the typos that were later fixed (somewhat) in later re-releases (greatest hits or PC or whatever)
 
I remember a poor 32 bit revolutionary RPG absolutely riddled with typographical errors. Seriously, I cant play VII too stoned. Its way too funny how much stupid shits misspelled.
 
I HAD the original, all 3 discs, perfect working condition, and I lent it to my very trustworthy cousin, along with my original Tactics disc, and someone broke into his house and stole all his gaming material; his Xbox, DS, all of his games, and unfortunately, mine as well. FUCKIN PISSED

Guys this thread isn't even about the value of the game it's self, it's about whatever this dvd is
