How long does it take you to beat a game?

If this was a bit more subjective, I would say if it's an RPG, give me a week or 2 months, depending on how I like the game. I have left some older games unfinished, but meh.. that's just because as you can tell I wasn't hooked at all.

FPS stories, give me 2 days usually. Some games technically have endings while others, you can keep doing things on and on and on.

FF titles - 20 to 100+ hours due to the enjoyment.

Side scrollers, give me 2 hrs and the thing will be beaten. If you can beat megaman you can beat any side scroller.

Modern games.. don't hold my attention as much as they used to. I think it's just because they are so rushed usually. Any of the CoD's are the exact same to me. I snore, but have a decent enough time in the Online atmosphere to take a look.

All the gears games, probably 3-4 days each. I hate blazing through them, I tend to enjoy doing all there is I can do.
 
It usually takes me a while to beat a game but there is a couple games i have finished in like 2 weeks to a month. I know the longest was about 3-5 months. That is pretty much it. I do not really play many games so usually it would take me a while.
 
I usually take about 2 months to finish a game. The reason for this is because after about 2-3 days straight of playing any type of game, I'll get burnt out. I'll have a break for 3-4 days, and then get back on it. Right now, I have FFXII waiting to be finished. I really liked the battle system and all, but I just can't bring myself to finish it. I've been playing it since about August. I just feel like it's gonna be a chore to finish. I want to start FFXIII, but I want to finish XII first.

FFIX is a rare exception where I never get burnt out. I fucking love that game. I actually end up having to force myself to bed because I don't want to stop playing it! :)
 
about 2-3 days if it is something I'm into. Might not 100% it, but take a decent chunk out of it and leave it where it is.

If it's something I'm doing just for the experience, it can take anywhere from a week to years
