I thought she was kinda nice and stuff. We all know that she had a crush on the main character and vice versa. so how do yall feel about it?

She was a good character..but to be honest i didnt particulary like her. Although she is not as bad as some other characters from FF games like Cait Sith and Quina lol.

I didnt like the voice actor for her, kinda went through me at time. And thought she tried to be too much like the heroine type..yeah she was going to defeat Sin but still..

Other than that she was great, her aid in battle was alot of the time mandatory. And her Aeons were rather nice :), especially Bahamut :P.

It was more than a crush, IMO they loved each other.

I liked her, a brunette lead female character, yay!! Finally lol! I mean we had Aeris, but she went early lol.

Her personality was great as she was gentle, sweet and doing her part to bring peace to the people of Spira. But as for the transformation in X2,Id rather not go there.

Yunie occupies the third place as a FF girl for me(Quistis first and Rikku second). She's nice, beautiful, has a calming voice(a bit annoying sometimes) and I say she deserves better that Tidus(which deserves Rikku, in my opinion, by the way), and has those eyes that look very intense. The change in FFX-2 was garbage period.

She's too timid and naive for my liking.

Though she bucked up a considerable amount in FFX-2.

Actually, I just started playing FFX all the way through. (I'm almost about to reach Mt. Gagazette).

I thought that Yuna was just too soft spoken, too considerate, and too insecure to be the hero of the group. She's not bossy; people just respect her enough to be quite when she talks; otherwise, you would never hear what she had to say. Yuna cares way too much what everyone else wants. And if she were traveling on her own, she would probably have a mental breakdown and/or be killed by one of those dancing mushrooms or something.

To be realistic..it seemed to me like Yuna was completely oblivious to the idea of love. In the beginning, she asks Tidus to become her guardian because she sees a link between her father's guardian (Jecht), and Tidus. Simply put, she asked Tidus to join her because she admired "Sir Jecht".

Throughout the journey, I really didn't see Yuna show any indication of attraction towards Tidus. Standing around and joking together and laughing...is not necessarily a sign of love or flirtation; this is something that all friends do.

Next things next...Yuna willingly accepts Seymour's marriage proposal, even knowing that he murdered his father, knowing that it was a political marriage, and knowing that the only benefit would be to negotiate with Seymour regarding his father's murder/his true intentions.
Love is out of the question. Spira's needs come first, Yuna's desires come last.

Now...when the party reaches the Al Bhed Home, and we see Tidus let out a splurge of emotion when he discovers that Yuna will die at the end of her journey...that was the first sign of immense emotion that I saw Tidus portray towards Yuna. I always thought that Tidus showed infatuation towards Yuna first, and that Yuna was just too caught up in her pilgrimage to catch on until much later.

After the party escapes from Bevelle, we see this lengthy, mushy, cheesy love scene where Tidus and Yuna kiss in the spring together. Again...Tidus shows affection first, and Yuna just starts to get the right idea about how Tidus feels for her.

To me...Yuna seems to be very caught up in her own thoughts. She's almost as stubborn as Wakka when it comes to getting an idea through her head. o.0

I thought she was very gentle and sweet, but she seemed to be holding back too much. I don't think she let her true personality show, only because I think in X-2 her true personality comes out. To me it was like she was using the pilgrimage to hide who she really was.

Ugh I agree. I wish that she would have had her X-2 personality in FFX. Then the romance would have been much more "fun"...maybe. ^.^
I like the way FFX turned out, regardless of any character flaws. But Yuna's personality was too robotic to me. XD

The different personalites in FFX and FFx-2 Was to show how much Tidua has impacted Yuna's life, giving the courgae and boldness to live for herself and be free. She wasn't that way in the first one becuase all she thought her purpose in life was trhe pilgrimage.

I honestly like Yuna, even in FFX-2. I just like her more in the first game as to me, everything about her was poignant one way or another, and I love that kind of set-up in a character. Sure, in FFX-2 we see a girl in a very happy disposition that you wonder, "So which characteristic is really real?" Both, of course, as a person undergoes all sort of changes at least once in his or her lifetime...point being that her character is realistic in my eyes.

In the first game, we already see development in her character as the game finally ends, but in the second game, it's a whole new different Yuna. Still the same kind person, but more free-spirited and outgoing. Her attitude was more fun, but I felt that somehow, despite all the changes, she's still that same shy and quiet Yuna anyway. And that's what I like about her - she changes drastically throughout the games, but never really made me alter my opinions about her in a negative direction.

she seems to be keepin to her self then she lets her self go after a while and the true yuna is shown,
if you hav played ff10-2 you begin to see a differnet side of yuna a more daring side and less timid

Shes ok when shes quiet but her emotional scenes makes her look abit dopey But otherwise an ok character.

I liked Yuna. She was incredibly giving and determined to do what she felt was right for others, not herself. Totally selfless throughout, simply wanting to make others happy.

I just wished she'd cry, sometimes! But the fact she knew it was better not to dwell on the future showed her strength. Even without Tidus she was strong in spirit. I do, however, have a feeling that she didn't have an awful lot to live for before meeting Tidus. While she loved Lulu, Wakka and Kimahri, I don't think she felt there was anything she had to keep her holding onto life. Then she met Tidus...

As for her looking dopey... How would you feel if you had the weight of the world on your shoulders and felt you had to marry a man you hated to keep everyone happy before you killed yourself for them, leaving a new-found love behind without being able to tell him how you felt, yet later finding out that your new-found love's father is the one thing you're trying to kill meaning that, if you follow the path of your dead father, a friend of yours will become what you are trying to kill. Then of course you take your own path and in the end discover that the love of your life is a dream and must fade away, meaning you don't get to be with him and have to live alone? XP

My thoughts exactly! She was acting meek, because she was nervous about the pilgramige and whatnot and was putting Spira first. But when she had no pressures, she could be herself.

Her magic was awesome, aeons rule and heterochromia (different eye colours) for the win!

yuna.....yuna.....YUNA! Urgh I HATE her, she is too petite, not enough anger, dont say no to nothing and what is up with her guado like hands in the mini scenes?! How did someone like her ever defeat sin?! Gosh

I liked Yuna alot because she seemed to be a fun girl and very kind and gentle. She always wanted to try new things that she hasnt done before. (the whistling thing...). She seemed like she was pretty calm and gentle in FFX and then in FFX-2 she seemed to be more wired probably cause she was the lead character.

Let's see, I loved Yuna. She was great in battle. She was cute too. She was too innocent too. The only thing I didn't like about her was that she loved others too much. She never cared that she was just gonna die.

In FFX2, I didn't really like what they did to her. They changed her personality too much.
