So how did you get buddies and friends on FFF? I was just wondering lol :P
 
The original Shotubox, my first FFF friends were Lady Aerith, Riku, and SorceressEdea7 i believe. LA stuck up for me when two rabid Clotis attacked some of my threads, and i got to know the other two on the SB ^_^

PMing people and being an all-roud nice person has lead to a lot of people adding me on MSN, which are most of my FFF friends ^_^

Rydia and i bonded over The anti-Tifa thread :D Good times were had by all :) and Mitsuki me and Rydia first talked and bonded when we composed a certain PM together...

so...the SB, MSN, and a very long gossip network ;)
 
I got the friends i have on here either by randomly PMing them ( :P) or by adding them to msn. Usernotes also helped =]

i get my friends from practically everywhere:the SB/chatroom, threads, the RPG and pms

@TTL: how about Aeris_TRUE_Gainsborough? :giggle:
 
The only person I consider my friend is Warbourne, other than that I don't consider anyone else my friend only someone I who goes to the same forum as I do. I would say I got him as my friend, by talking to him when the chat was on.

My first friend on here was Mitsuki. I posted a thread called 'Culture Shock' talking about where I was from originally, and it just so happened that she was a fellow Filipino, which I am myself. :P
She gave me a usernote, gave me a PM, and then pressured me into getting MSN....my gateway to getting new friends. So thank you. ^_^

Oh yeah, I started posting a crudload of usernotes for a time too. :P
....and....nah, can't say it. Jimmy knows about this...what I'm talking about. >.>
 
I'm new here, so I don't have any yet. In fact, it's been a long long time ago since I last gained friends or even someone nice to talk to through forums. Certainly some three years ago, it was...

I think it partly has to do with the fact I don't come across as all that happy/perky on the internet. I'm not depressed, nor cold...I really do care about my friends, but I seem to be more...down to earth, if you will. It might also have to do with the fact I don't usually go around PM'ing random people and adding them to MSN. I would feel like I'm intruding, and honestly, I'm not very skilled at chatting when I hardly or don't know the person I'm talking to, so things get really awkward really fast, although it can turn out to be fine after a while of getting to know each other.

I'm not a brilliant social person, but I'd welcome a few friends if they're interested in me.
 
I made them by helping them with game problems or in the rpg or in clubs ^_^
I also met a few in the rpg and we became friends
 
Um, I don't know...I guess the fact that I'm just an all-around friendly person? Even in real life, although I admit I tend to shy away from people sometimes. But that doesn't mean I can't be friendly.

I first met Aerith Gainsborough through MSN. I believe he added me, and then added me to a convo with Rydia - and that's how I met her. xD (First FFF MSN convo!) We became friends pretty quickly, actually...although initially it was kinda awkward for me because I didn't really know those two goofballs. :P Saix is fun to chat with on MSN too. I learn many, many things from him. xD

And then of course there are others, such as Warbourne, Wullfe, PreZ, and Shenorai. I'd say that the SB was a great opportunity to get to know the members here.

I kind of... didn't do anything. I didn't give people usernotes, I didn't converse in the shoutbox/chatroom, and I didn't PM anyone. After about... 5 months after my initial joining, I think DB and I started talking quite a bit on MSN. I... can't remember how that happened. From then on, people just started noticing the fact I was actually on this forum. I guess some people like bastards. :P
 
The old shoutbox mostly... then i got MSN, and things went from there :)
 
RP Central, mostly. The people that take enough time to sit down and put their thoughts and ideas into their posts (grammatically correct, even) seem to have plenty of intelligence, thus are more than capable of holding an interesting conversation.

Other than that, the chatroom/shoutbox/whatever is a spot where I've made a few acquaintances.
